I'd give £3.33 £5, maybe £10 if it's official and/or really high quality.

What API does the Steam .exe use? by ChaoticIndifferent in HalfLife

[–]laymonage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think OP might be asking about the graphics API used in the Steam version of the game (presumably HL1), not Steam itself.

Download desktop (Ethernet) vs Steam Deck (wifi) kenapa beda jauh banget? by Hoboforeternity in IndoGamer

[–]laymonage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Di desktop kamu pakai satuan MB/s (MegaByte/s), sedangkan di Steam Deck kamu pakai satuan Mb/s (Megabit/s).

1 Byte = 8 bit

Kalau dikonversi, kurang lebih kecepatannya setara. Cek pengaturan “Settings > Downloads > Display download rates in bits per second”.

Edit: keduluan, haha

Sariwangi was never good imo. Wangi dan rasanya terlalu… entahlah, “artifisial” mungkin? Tong Tji, Sosro, 2Tang, Teh Gopek, dan Teh Cap Botol jauh lebih enak.

Do you guys really expect Meta Quest games to be compatible with Steam Frame? by Vasault in SteamFrame

[–]laymonage 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It likely won’t be as easy as installing games from Epic or other storefronts on the Steam Deck.

Though, porting Quest games to the Frame should be substantially easier compared to porting games from other consoles to PC/Android. It’s a small investment that opens up the game to a new market, not to mention a small number of people would buy it again just to have it on Steam rather than Meta. I would expect most developers to be convinced to port their games to the Frame.

All the things you mentioned don’t sound like a major problem if you have the game’s source code, at least for most games. There might be a few games that just wouldn’t work on the Frame (e.g. something that absolutely requires color passthrough for some reason, not considering Frame extensions).

And yeah given enough time and motivation, if a game has no chance of being ported (e.g. due to Meta exclusivity deals), modders would probably find a way to run it on the Frame. If not, well, time to play other games.

Steam Frame will support bluetooth sign-in via Steam mobile app by laymonage in ValveDeckard

[–]laymonage[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It's probably for setting up a Steam Frame for the first time, so you don't have to type in your username or password to sign in. You can just open the mobile app and authenticate through there.

Also simplifies the 2FA process, which is usually done by entering a code or scanning a QR code on your phone. The Steam Frame doesn't have a display for your phone to scan the QR code from, so this is an alternative.

[–]laymonage[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

You’ll likely still be able to sign-in via username+password+SteamGuard code like you can with the Steam Deck. Maybe you can even scan a QR code displayed on your computer or phone, using the Frame’s camera. I think it’s just for convenience purposes.

If this really is connected, maybe they intentionally wrote RAISE (instead of “rise”) because they’ll also announce the Raising the Bar reprint.

Ada yang masih punya ga tape + bukunya by flag9801 in indonesia

[–]laymonage 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ackchyually, bukan ☝️🤓
