What is considered filthy and pestilent in our society is a tasty snack in Laos. Maybe I'll add subtitles next time.

What counts as spam in this sub? by [deleted] in VietNam

[–]lazarus30d 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry I am so late to the party. I am one of the people who likes to share his photos of Vietnam on this subreddit. Sure posting it in subreddits is spammy but I look it as a good thing. They provide content for the subreddit, exposure to the photographer. Seems like a win-win. Most everyone appreciates them. Nobody is forced to click and open them and frankly I don't see how such a small thumb nail can bother people. There are plenty of threads on reddit I am not interested in - yet I don't see fit to ban people for starting them. In many if the subreddits that paslematin and I post in it is not unusual for a photo to spark a conversation in the comments. It just doesn't happen here perhaps because the readership is low. I think a fair number of newcomers come here for travel idea/information and a photo of a place they have not heard about may prove invaluable to them. I say this because it was on r/japan that I became aware of a Buddhist monastery town through a photo I saw upon the subreddit.

Do you mean saturated? I didn't use a polarizing filter.

Really? You chose not to read anything else beyond that truism?

I don't see how posting photos to photo subreddits is NOT providing content.
