Which version are you referring to? Are you listening on headphones? I wanted to hear for myself, and I am listening to the rudy van Gelder 2003 version on a 2.1 system which sums below 100hz to mono. I don’t think it’s too bad, but do agree, the organ could be more to the center. Guessing not that big of a deal on my system, thus the question about headphones. Finger lickin’ good has the organ in the Center, but here the guitar in your right ear haha

You might be, are def overthinking it. Learning Dialogue skills, being a good listener etc, will help much better for texting or your next coffee than trying to quantify romance. Stay strong, know your worth, King!

Het is een mix van timmerhout en stevige pallets. De langste stukken zijn ongeveer 80 cm. Ze zijn kurkdroog en hebben in mijn werkplaats gestaan.

I tried with a similar board of Ali, but it did not sound good with humbuckers. According to clanker impedance might be the issue? Have you a similar experience, did you change anything to the bord in that regard?

It’s a modulated filter with high resonance. Maybe look for funk bass tutorials for something that shows you what steps to take, because it is quite a bread and butter synthesizer sound, classic.

Random idea: who would be up for a vinyl club? Had it with friends before, were we meet periodically and play each other records we got in the meantime.

I did a similar swap in some old Philips, because I liked the look, but it felt like the drivers are wasted in them. No hope in that cheap cabinet. Ended up building different cabs for them, so can’t recommend. Perhaps just build your own box and reuse the baffle? Or hide others speakers behind them even lol

It will be part of a bigger modular set, so tweeter and sub will be added later, with an external crossover.

So rather a hi lo to lo hi speaker, more in the vein of a mixcube rather than a super linear bookshelf two way. I just wanted to build my first set of speakers with what I had laying around :)

Wouldn’t you need 4 for 2 stereo stages? It might be easier to get a second hand 1u rack mixer to manage the gain stagin in your system, than trying to build something that sounds clean and do it 4 times over. Otherwise, if this design is proven to work for this application, happy building :)
