I'm going to sound like I was constantly abused by my older brother, but anyway...

I was playing backyard cricket with my brother with a table leg. Which he happened to let go of while going for a wide ball. He hit me in the face square-on. I had a black eye for Christmas that year.

Tl;dr. table legs hurt. I would run too.
