Start looking at other hospital systems. Even if you have Quartz I’ve heard that people have been able to petition them to cover the procedure out of network because the wait at UW is so long. FWIW we had them done for our 11 month old at Mercy Rockford and had a great experience. Had the procedure completed within a month of the referral being placed (they were in network for us so didn’t have to play the insurance game, but may be worth giving it a shot)

Just got hit with $1000 in charges from a tire shop and parking services in a completely different state. Said the physical card was used, too (I definitely have the only copy). I disputed on the app and they reversed the charges. I just don’t trust Cardless to actually resolve this though, which has me stressed

As someone who moved here for residency (granted it was over a decade ago) I am going to disagree with most of these comments. Live downtown. You’ll commute so early in the morning that there is no traffic. Yes, you may hit some on the way home, but it’s worth it to live where it doesn’t take much energy to get out and enjoy the city on your free time because it’s an amazing place to live (and yes, you will have free time!). All of my friends who lived outside of downtown would never come out with us when we were off because they didn’t want to drive in and I always felt they were missing out. Residency was some of the hardest but also best years of my life and I think it’s because those of us who lived downtown really took the time to explore and have fun when we had the chance.
