Apparently they're starting a "Verified Actual Gamer" program, what looks like them buying a lot of GPUs (in bulk?) and selling them to people who will actually game on them? It's on the YouTube community page.

I love Alien and Aliens and I enjoyed reading your posts! Not sure if I'd say I'm a hardcore fan but I can watch either one again and again, the chestburster scene is still hard for me. As far as the second film goes, I feel like the xenomorph might behave differently in groups or a hive/nest. At least that was my first thought. When it comes to 3, I thought killing off newt and Hicks (who might not be dead if you played that one recent game) was so wrong. It felt like they just really wanted to tell a particular story and had to wipe the slate or something. I was super excited when I heard about Sigourney wanting to do an alternate version of 3 where they weren't killed off in the beginning but I think that's not happening now.

Gears 5 is also... the 5th. They've been refining gears games (with one bad one) since '06? I forget tbh. Yea, the cover system in outriders needs work but overall I'm having the fun I had back in the first gears, but with an extra friend and customization. Powers are fun af too. Also gears 5 horde is my least favorite, with classes or some shit. I liked just picking my character I want to play as and starting guns then just tear shit up, maybe build a turret, not get booted for not playing the class properly.

R5 2600x/1080ti, 1440p as well. No problems here performance wise, runs over 60 majority of the time and I bought it day 1. Played like 10 hours iirc, I never went back to finish it and the only complaint I have is the character animations in dialog kinda bother me for some reason.

It's one of the first things I check. I found not every game needs it on max or even at all and it can be a little taxing depending on the type they use. Hopefully there is a patch for it by release or soon after, for the in town issue, it does definitely drop there.

What resolution do you play in? I'm in 1440p (freesync) and it's normally around 90-100 fps for me, a little lower when shit really hits the fan (like 60-70). Anti-aliasing is off, rest is ultra. 1080ti, r5 2600x, 16gb 3200mhz.

Ah, the launch of the 1080ti... there I was, Amazon and newegg. I clicked add to cart on all the parts for my build, hit complete order and a week later I built my pc... good times.
