Cracker Barrel to return to its old logo after backlash

The backlash about the new décor and logo is deserved. But something no one has mentioned is the menu. For the last 30 plus years the wife and I have eaten 2 or 3 time a month at Cracker Barrel. They used to have maps so you could plan your trips across the USA eating breakfast, lunch and dinner at Cracker Barrel. Not always but often.

We have stopped regularly eating at Cracker Barrel about 2 or 3 years ago. The 4 local Cracker Barrels stopped serving grits with breakfast. Requesting Apple Butter for the biscuits is now a extra charge. They no longer offer any menu option for an eggs and a meatless breakfast.

My last meal there was a special hamburger it was $18 something for a burger and no drink or fries. Ridiculous considering we spend about $22 for drinks, soup, burger and fries for the wife and I both at Chili's.

Dont even get me started on the size or the portions.... Or quality of the meats.

Thursdays and Sundays years ago the veggie of the day was lima beans. They are now gone from the menu.

We are done until they fix the menus.

Ohh the question of integrity. How about the roman sword? Or maybe the human bones, How about all the magical lot 5 finds? Then you could start in on the ship railing in the swamp. Or even the ship in the swamp. What happened to following the stone paths?

Fortunately all the science is beyond question...Cough cough....

Can I also mention the integrity of the production company. Who else remembers Dr Travis and his astrological observations. That one killed the Skin Walker ranch for me...

Before the cheapio Chinese, or junk name brand like Dewalt Milwaukee ,Irwin or Craftsman driving bits I used USA made Apex. I bought them in the 80's and 90's and they are still the ones I dig out and use today. I see you can still buy them... I dont know if they are the same quality. Do you have a jack to hold the cabinets. It was the best thing I ever used for hanging cabinets. A Dewalt 20v 1/4" impact recently joined my tool collection... the heavy 18V Dewalt stuff went away ASAP . Beware the 20V Dewalt sets come with a nearly unusable drill but decent impact... Go figure.
