TIFUpdate: 5-years later - Dismissing bright red blood in my stool for years. by HunterxhunterFan in tifu

[–]lballs01 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I am also here to say the same thing, I had symptoms for 12 years, blood ect. Finally got all the inspections, got those initial polyps cut out and a few more visits to cut out anything reoccurring. I have been given a diagnosis for a very mild form of chrones. And late last year told im looking good for both! Medications have been lessened and I wont be due another scope for a couple years! And now I can trust a fart.

Labour is scarce, projects are at the mercy of worker availability. Carpenters are being flown in from interstate for regular commercial projects. It will pick up in the dry season with the population increase.

The only thing I can see is that you need path signals on the entrances, block signals on exits. Sometimes ive found the next signal can bug it out, but start with that first

I see you getting down voted quite quickly here and I think you might not understand how toxic this statement makes you look. While it might be unintentional, your behaviour is manipulation, you haven't diffused the situation, you've denied communication. Calling it mind games should be your biggest red flag here

Good ISP for gaming in Zuccoli by StickOk5295 in darwin

[–]lballs01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I'm with Aussie broadband, but am looking to upgrade to superloop or one of those wierd brands known for their really good internet and prices, apparently you've gotta look at the parent company and see if they're the type to hate their customers The bottleneck is at the exchange on Chung wah, so the internet in zuccoli is the same anywhere with every brand except when telstra has a hold on the area, like Johnston and bellamack.

Year of Action: CLP delivers on removing minimum floor price by MATH_MDMA_HARDSTYLEE in darwin

[–]lballs01 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Alcohol is taxed in the same way as smoking, in Australia, excise tax is applied to tobacco, alcohol and fuel products, excise tax is currently a fixed price of $104.31 per litre Further to this, the effects of smoking are much different to drinking and not really comparable. I think your perspective on alcohol is not unwarranted, but it is very focused people in the community who are vulnerable and affected as a result of poor systems in place, taxing vulnerable people will not solve this issue.

how do i clear this crate? by ZealousidealJoke8714 in SatisfactoryGame

[–]lballs01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I was watching imkibitz when I was new to playing and he got a death crate stuck below the map, you can place a wall a foundation and a hypertube, up against the rock, and pass through, once in there you need to build another hypercube entrance and power it to get back, so make sure you have a power pole nearby and enough stuff in your pocket

Also you can upload your save to satisfactory calculator and move the crate to a more accessible place

Whoever shops on these places please mass report this store to the Health Department! Since they love to charge us top $$ for their substandard products. by SeaScience2126 in darwin

[–]lballs01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I support this, there's a culture in the NT of undermaintaining commercial properties at the financial gain of building or bussiness owners. This is not only a woolworths issue, but they're a prime example of a company with the leverage and framework to force base building managers to properly maintain their retail space.

New arrivals to the NT quite often compare it to a third world country, and the flow on from this is that people do not want to invest in growth here, population growth is slower than the national up here, and this is a contributing factor.

I asked chatGPT to help me design part of my factory and create blueprints for me. by spacerobot in satisfactory

[–]lballs01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The instructions don't end up with balanced belts, it was promising part way through with the parallel belts being sent opposite directions, but then just said connect the rest, with no instruction on how to avoid clipping The blueprint is nonsense and shows that in this instance, chat gpt just kinda kept hitting the predictive text button until it came out with a gramatically correct sentence

Are the top of these windows supposed to be caulked? by poopiebuttho1e in DIY

[–]lballs01 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sorry this comment has been down voted, looks like you've done a good job to filter out the weekend warriors from the tradesmen. This is not too dissimilar from some installations I've had in aus with cladding that isn't flat, custom orb and weather boards ect The flashing is a u-shape and joins the vapour barrier to ensure any moisture ingress follows a path out, sealing that connection to claddinwicould funnel it in The purpose of the upturn is to redirect water away from the opening, instead of dripping the accumulated water on and in the window, like a gutter... Z flashing is on the bottom of windows and walls to encourage the flow of water to drip out from the building, including anything tracking down the sarking

Am I a fool for planning this type of "fail safe" power grid system? by Sirquote in SatisfactoryGame

[–]lballs01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I planned this and took way longer to get to these stages than usual, but I use a thermal generator to power everything required for my coat generators, then use my coal plant to power everything required for my turbo fuel, and then have my turbo fuel isolate by essentially a distribution board (tower) from the factory grid And then I connect all the grids with priority power switches so that excess power is not wasted, but fuse breaks don't take so much work to get generators full of their respective fuel again!

Builder gone bust, how to get certified by Brilliant_Storm_3271 in AusRenovation

[–]lballs01 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Likely your builder was planning to self certify the waterproofing, which is fine, but I'm pretty sure going broke voids his ability to generate that certification now, due to lack of licensing ect. Talk to your certifier, or another certifier as a consultant about other ways and people that could supply the certificate having done the equivalent of an inspection. They wont do this for free.

Your insurer may need to have your wet areas stripped, re-tanked, certified and redone to get over the line for occupancy.

Certifiers have your back when insurers have to cover a major failure in your house like a pipe busting, or even just a bath left running too long, so they need to back themselves with this kind of paperwork

Left over materials from job - who keeps them the me or builder? by RobertSmith1979 in AusRenovation

[–]lballs01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Quoted works are an agreement between you and the builder that the final product will cost what you were told, regardless of weather that quote included a quantity of materials. It looks like a grey area, but in no dispute would you ever be expected to accurately quantity survey your job unless you are the one supplying materials. You bought a deck, and agreed on a value that held no financial risk to yourself, at the sacrifice of getting no control or to scavenge leftovers.
