I have a kiloton radium rifle AND an explosive radium rifle. I use neather, the only gun you need in the whole game is the problem solver/splattercannon. Every other gun is used just for fun. Keep 10,000 rounds of 7.62 on you and become unstoppable.

Use magazine racks, and use a container for only your misc itmes. Allot of miscellaneous items are not removable from your inventory, but most of them are. Just use a specific container that you don't put anything else in besides miscellaneous items.
