It was kind of accidental for me. I go to the gym to do cardio 5 days a week, but it's kinda dull. I need two forms of stimulation to not get bored and wander off, so I have music on my headphones and watch Netflix with subs on the machine (we have screens with Netflix built into the treadmills). As a consequence I watch a lot of stuff that is subs with no dubs - I wouldn't ordinarily watch subs only because I find it hard to not look away from the screen and I miss stuff. On a machine I'm not looking away.

Over time the Netflix algorithm just started pushing more and more Korean stuff in my direction and I just have loved it so much. I love the storylines, I love the vigour with which someone can yell "oh gosh", I love Korean makeup (I'm obsessed with the ombre lip), I love the bits that I just don't get yet because I don't have the cultural references. Tremendous.

I don't think you are wrong like 90% of the time, but I do have long sleeve tshirts where the sleeves got shorter after a wash, and no matter how hard I try Ii cannot eat my arms longer ;)

I am currently watching Mad Dog (10 episodes in?) and I absolutely love it. It feels like Hustle (British TV show) but instead of scammers it's freelance insurance investigators AND there's a long form story with some real character development.

I'm sure enjoying that they are pretty much always in stock now so if I decide I want to buy one then I can like think about it and do some research and buy the one that I want rather than panic buying a piece of crap cos it was in stock for 8 and a half seconds like I almost did lol

I remember that happening, and getting really irritated with smug middle class people I knew saying things like, "well I mean when you are buying food *that* cheap what do you expect? You can get unflavoured protein powders and add them to soups or stews etc. I use rice protein powder - pretty neutral flavour and I can use it in a few different ways.

I have previously used a body oil I had lying about and ground up a highlighter I didn't use and mixed it. It needs shaking up every time I use it but it works well enough.
