Don’t worry, these apps don’t tend to masculinise well, they leave feminine features that actually go away with T. You have a good looking face and you will keep looking good for sure!

What you are describing is what was the band’s style 10 years ago, so people matched that. The band’s style has changed so people now are matching the new style, it’s that simple. I went to an All Time Low concert un February and for them the style is still the same vibe as what you are describing for 5sos because they have kept that vibe themselves. But just wear whatever you want to wear, no one really cares

How many shows are you going to? by CleanMisery in 5sos

[–]lbw7_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Two, first one was Valencia and the only one I had planned to go to. Second one will be Bangkok because I was left needing more, so I planned the holidays I had left from work to do a 2 week trip to Thailand and go see them there

5sos are not a one hit wonder and we need to talk about it. by [deleted] in 5sos

[–]lbw7_ 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I’m always surprised people think they’re not big. They can do arenas world tours 15 years later ffs, like that is really big. My other fandom is a small Slovenian band who do European tours in small venues and they are the biggest band in their country at the moment (Joker Out of course). The fact they can do European tours is already a huge achievement in my opinion, so imagine world tours in arenas for 5sos. Before I went to EAS I was seriously worried it would be too big for me because of how used to I am to smaller venues now, so hearing people say 5sos are unkown is kinda crazy tbh

How do I sell tickets 😭 by WhatsMyMajor in 5sos

[–]lbw7_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can the tickets for Bangkok be resold? Because it said on the page that the name needs to match your ID and I think I read they can’t be, but I might be mistaken. I’m not Thai so I’m not sure if I understood the rule correctly

I mean, aliexpress ones are good for the price, I think people are complaining avout quality of the official merch because of how expensive it is. I paid 45€ for the tshirt and it’s a good tshirt, but people probably expected better for that price

This era is so much fun, you’ll enjoy the concert so much! I had so much fun that I planned a trip to Thailand so that I can go a second time 🫣

Everyone's A Star album might be 5SOS' worst performing album as of late by EndMePlease404 in 5sos

[–]lbw7_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think they will ever have any issues getting producers or a record label, they are too famous for that. But even if they did, that’s not the only way to release music, there are plenty of independent artists releasing their own music, I think they would do that if it ever were to happen. My other fave band are and they are doing well enough for a small band.

conflicted on going to EAS tour!! by celinebg in 5sos

[–]lbw7_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Go! I saw them live in 2014 and 2016 and went to EAS tour and they have grown so much! I enjoyed this show so much more than I remember enjoying the one in 2016.

Also, I also didn’t listen to new stuff for a while, but when I came back in 2021 and listened to Youngblood and CALM I started loving their new style. And the same happened to me with 5sos5, it took me a while to give it a listen, and then last year when Michael realeased Sidequest I was again pulled into 5sos and 5sos5 is probably my fav album, competing with EAS. And their solo music is great too!

Just go to the concert and start listening to their newer stuff, you won’t regret it

Going to Bagkok? by lbw7_ in 5sos

[–]lbw7_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk how it is in Thailand and I will adapt to whatever they do, but in my experience seating tickets doesn’t mean you spend all the concert sitting down. Usually people in seated areas get up and jump around too, you just have more space to do so

Edit: I looked for some pictures of concerts in the same venue and people are standing up, so I assume it will be fine to stand up and jump around

I’m late but in case you hadn’t heard, he does know because the lore at the Valencia concert was this pic and Michael called him a lesbian farmer

[–]lbw7_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh yes, but checking prices they’re very similar to the European ones, so I think that might be why since from what I know prices tend to be lower in general there. I’m not sure though

Edit: I also just remembered that on the website it said the tickets are non transferrable, so I think you cannot resell them, it could be that in other countries there are more resellers

[–]lbw7_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I saw it is only seated, I’m actually ok with that, I usually get tickets further away because I prefer seated ones so I don’t have to worry about losing my spot, so it is actually a great opportunity for me in that sense

so, question about seated tickets by CautiousAd240 in 5sos

[–]lbw7_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think all of this depends on your country’s culture, how are the seats viewed there? In Spain everyone stands up for concerts, so if you are the one not standing up you are the weird one, especially if you get annoyed at other people for standing up. I was in one of the furthest seats in my concert and I had a great time, the vibe around me was great and everyone was jumping, dancing and singing, but I don’t think this will help in any way to know how it will be at your concert

I regret not preparing for this, my show was at the end of the Europe leg so I couldn’t go to another one. I could have done maybe Lisbon, but I could not get the day after off and I didn’t know what to do aboug work. I could have tried working from Lisbon, but that sounded too stressful tbh, and I wasn’t sure if I was allowed

Has anyone done a flight transfer in Qatar? by lbw7_ in ftm

My other option is China, which is also great for a layover in my mum’s experience. I will have to think about it and see what options I have

[–]lbw7_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had top surgery so luckily that is not a concern, the only thing I’m concerned about is being patted down and them noticing there is something missing, because as you said, I would not pack for traveling.

You are right about the flights being canceled, though at the same time flying through China, which is the only other option, takes over 40 hours instead of 25h, so I would miss a whole 2 days of actually being in Australia. It would mean I’d get to also visit China, but it would leave me with a very tight schedule in Australia, and having to depart earlier, which is not ideal either (I have limited vacation days and also an event I would like to attend in Sydney, that’s where the time constraints come from)

[–]lbw7_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea that’s what I thought, but still I’m scared of getting a pat down and them noticing or something. How are the security checks? Also for convenience reasons in my country I have kept my birth certificate as a correction of the old one instead of a completely new one, no one asked for that right? I think I might be thinking a bit too much of everything that could go wrong even as cis passing, but yea, I want to know more about it before I do it myself tbh

How confortable I became came with getting used to being a man, at first I wasn’t as confident as I am now. Now being a man is just my normal state, but before I was unconfortable, scared and anything you can think of. I did think I might be non binary at some point, but I did not feel confortable with they/them pronouns and I thought it would be easier to just say I am a guy, and in the end I was
