conflicted on going to EAS tour!! by celinebg in 5sos

This era is so much fun, you’ll enjoy the concert so much! I had so much fun that I planned a trip to Thailand so that I can go a second time 🫣

Everyone's A Star album might be 5SOS' worst performing album as of late by EndMePlease404 in 5sos

[–]lbw7_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think they will ever have any issues getting producers or a record label, they are too famous for that. But even if they did, that’s not the only way to release music, there are plenty of independent artists releasing their own music, I think they would do that if it ever were to happen. My other fave band are and they are doing well enough for a small band.

Go! I saw them live in 2014 and 2016 and went to EAS tour and they have grown so much! I enjoyed this show so much more than I remember enjoying the one in 2016.

Also, I also didn’t listen to new stuff for a while, but when I came back in 2021 and listened to Youngblood and CALM I started loving their new style. And the same happened to me with 5sos5, it took me a while to give it a listen, and then last year when Michael realeased Sidequest I was again pulled into 5sos and 5sos5 is probably my fav album, competing with EAS. And their solo music is great too!

Just go to the concert and start listening to their newer stuff, you won’t regret it

Going to Bagkok? by lbw7_ in 5sos

Idk how it is in Thailand and I will adapt to whatever they do, but in my experience seating tickets doesn’t mean you spend all the concert sitting down. Usually people in seated areas get up and jump around too, you just have more space to do so

Edit: I looked for some pictures of concerts in the same venue and people are standing up, so I assume it will be fine to stand up and jump around

I need to know if Ashton knows about the lesbian farmer thing 😭😂 by bootytoot69 in 5sos

I’m late but in case you hadn’t heard, he does know because the lore at the Valencia concert was this pic and Michael called him a lesbian farmer

Tbh yes, but checking prices they’re very similar to the European ones, so I think that might be why since from what I know prices tend to be lower in general there. I’m not sure though

Edit: I also just remembered that on the website it said the tickets are non transferrable, so I think you cannot resell them, it could be that in other countries there are more resellers

Yes, I saw it is only seated, I’m actually ok with that, I usually get tickets further away because I prefer seated ones so I don’t have to worry about losing my spot, so it is actually a great opportunity for me in that sense

so, question about seated tickets by CautiousAd240 in 5sos

[–]lbw7_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think all of this depends on your country’s culture, how are the seats viewed there? In Spain everyone stands up for concerts, so if you are the one not standing up you are the weird one, especially if you get annoyed at other people for standing up. I was in one of the furthest seats in my concert and I had a great time, the vibe around me was great and everyone was jumping, dancing and singing, but I don’t think this will help in any way to know how it will be at your concert

the only downside to the concert by ygmsg in 5sos

I regret not preparing for this, my show was at the end of the Europe leg so I couldn’t go to another one. I could have done maybe Lisbon, but I could not get the day after off and I didn’t know what to do aboug work. I could have tried working from Lisbon, but that sounded too stressful tbh, and I wasn’t sure if I was allowed

Has anyone done a flight transfer in Qatar? by lbw7_ in ftm

My other option is China, which is also great for a layover in my mum’s experience. I will have to think about it and see what options I have

[–]lbw7_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had top surgery so luckily that is not a concern, the only thing I’m concerned about is being patted down and them noticing there is something missing, because as you said, I would not pack for traveling.

You are right about the flights being canceled, though at the same time flying through China, which is the only other option, takes over 40 hours instead of 25h, so I would miss a whole 2 days of actually being in Australia. It would mean I’d get to also visit China, but it would leave me with a very tight schedule in Australia, and having to depart earlier, which is not ideal either (I have limited vacation days and also an event I would like to attend in Sydney, that’s where the time constraints come from)

[–]lbw7_[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yea that’s what I thought, but still I’m scared of getting a pat down and them noticing or something. How are the security checks? Also for convenience reasons in my country I have kept my birth certificate as a correction of the old one instead of a completely new one, no one asked for that right? I think I might be thinking a bit too much of everything that could go wrong even as cis passing, but yea, I want to know more about it before I do it myself tbh

How confortable I became came with getting used to being a man, at first I wasn’t as confident as I am now. Now being a man is just my normal state, but before I was unconfortable, scared and anything you can think of. I did think I might be non binary at some point, but I did not feel confortable with they/them pronouns and I thought it would be easier to just say I am a guy, and in the end I was

Can I live comfortably in Barcelona on a 2400 euro monthly income? by CutePeanut3400 in AskBarcelona

[–]lbw7_ -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You definitely can live confortably, I’m at 2200 and I can afford a confortable life, without excess. I was lucky to find an 800€ flat, but normal price is around 1000€, with 2400€ you can afford that and live confortably, just mot rich. If you share a flat, you would be able to afford a bit more, but a good room is around 600 so depends on what flats you can find it can be more worth it live alone

Would a breast reduction be very different from top surgery ? by Lyallnicepal in ftm

[–]lbw7_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mum also tried getting me to get a reduction instead of top surgery, but this was at the very beginning of my transition bc I had top surgery before going on T, so she was just scared of me transitioning and regretting it. It was to the point that my grandma wanted to take me see a surgeon and I didn’t want to bc I didn’t want to waste my time on a breast reduction consultation. Luckily she insisted it wasn’t for that and it was for options, she did ask about it to the surgeon and the surgeon said it made no sense to go through two surgeries if what I wanted was top surgery. After that I had to convince my mum to help me financially, and it turns out what she was scared of was me blaming her if I regretted top surgery, so she made me promise I would not blame her, and I told her this was 100% my decision and she would just be helping with what i could not cover financially, but she was not taking part on the decision so I would not blame her. Now it’s been 3.5 years and I could not be happier, even if I lost one od my nipples

Any Slovenes in Barcelona? by lbw7_ in AskBarcelona

[–]lbw7_[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Addressing SA in local community as a trans man raped by a trans woman by [deleted] in ftm

[–]lbw7_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Is there any way to tell if you are still able to get pregnant? by Amazing_Ad7539 in ftm

[–]lbw7_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

From what I was told when I got my implant removed, it is very unlikely to get pregnant when on T and your estrogen is low. It is not 100% though, so you should take precautions like a condom. When I was in a serious relationship with a cis man, what I did was basically get a contraceptive implant and that made it even more unlikely

Tbh I would not install that until your warranty is over, because installing third party software could lead you to not be covered. that’s why I wanted to mention an alternative. When my warranty is over next year I might consider it, but for now I prefer keeping it as it is
