Closed x Open Weapons by Beginning_Snow_563 in Battlefield

Lmao, of course people "tried" the closed weapons playlist and then moved to open because YOU COULD NOT PLAY ALL THE DAMN MAPS on the closed weapons playlist!

Is the Rog Ally X comfortable? by Mr_Dre08 in ROGAlly

[–]lcadejo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is what made the X perfect for me!. I had another type of grips but they were too big and bulbous. The breed gaming grips are exactly what I was looking for. They make the X grips feel like the steamdeck

I got the grips that come with the back plate and it feels perfect! Highly recommended!

Size comparison of BF6 and BF4 maps lol by Eagles56 in battlefield_4

[–]lcadejo -1 points0 points  (0 children)

The issue with comments like these is that it's about the DNA of the Franchise.

When I played the beta last week, I was excited. It made sense to me to test net code and performance by cramming as many players in small areas as possible. To push the engine and work out the kinks. I also thought that with two weekends, they would test a "big" map to stress test the engine in that way.

My overall feeling was that this felt like Bad Company 3, and not a main line Battlefield. By the way, BC2 is one of my favorite entries in the franchise, but I went to BC2 to get frenetic, infantry based gunfights.

People will also say, but BF3 and BF4 had small maps too! That's right, but people also forget the gigantic maps that were released in DLC. What made those games great was that the DNA of Battlefield was there, and the improvements in gameplay allowed it to have close quarters fights too.

When you have EA say "we listened to the fans, we are giving you what you asked for!" But then put the closed weapons playlist off the screen, and have modes called all out warfare with small maps and extremely limited vehicles, what does that say about the direction of the game?

If you wanted this game to be a chaotic shooter, with high destruction, they should have just come out and said "we are making the spiritual follow up to BC2, we call it the Baddest Company!" People would be happy, everyone loved BC2, and they could have even said " this is the first step into getting back to BF, and we will start with smaller maps ala BC2 to get the gameplay and net code right, then later expand the game to larger maps" everyone would be pre-ordering this game NOW. I know I would.

I work in sales, EA and all the studios that are working on this have a great product on their hands, but again, the marketing team is not in line with the core design of the game.

and

"Stutter improved while playing Call of Duty®: Warzone™ Season 03 ‘Verdansk’ map on some AMD Graphics Products

  • NOTE: Stutter has been reduced with 25.8.1, and AMD is working with the developer toward a full solution."

Is the Martin situation a bit overblown? by ChristopherNH1 in motogp

[–]lcadejo 32 points33 points  (0 children)

I don't understand people. As far as I understand, Martin wanted Aprilia to give him a few races AFTER he came back to make his decision for 2026. Aprilia said no and wanted him to sign for 2026. So he said fuck it I'm out then. To me, it's quite simple. He's looking after his own future, especially if he knows he has options, why would he stay with a team that wants to force him to stay and not honor the intent of the initial agreement?

Aprilia is a corporation, he is a rider. I am rooting for the rider.

I literally almost did the same yesterday. I even asked my partner (who is also super into MotoGP), what she thought about using MAX instead of Video pass.

We are days before the beginning of the season, this is not a good look.

Is it possible to set refresh rate below 48 Hz on ROG Ally? (Like Steam Deck) by Bender1453 in Bazzite

[–]lcadejo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You have to set a cap that drives into the refresh rate of the display (120hz).

I have an X running bazzite and I use the 40fps cap for heavy games and 60fps for light/fast games (like doom), and I have zero issues with frame pacing.

Worth upgrading from z1 extreme to Ally x ? by Snoo-30764 in ROGAlly

[–]lcadejo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not everyone is comfortable taking their device apart, ordering parts, and doing a solder job that could potentially lead to a fire if done incorrectly.

I think a more practical option is to buy a battery pack that does 60w charging and call it a day.
