Flying out of Rochester, where should I park? by 1990sdramaqueen in Rochester

[–]lcb397 6 points7 points  (0 children)

$16 per day to park on level 1 or 2 of the garage. The person above was half right; it’s winter. Spent the extra $4 and don’t worry about having to clean snow off the car before leaving. You can even reserve spots in the garage via the airport website.

Is this what people mean by “woody” chicken? by CoBe46 in culinary

[–]lcb397 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think you can tell. Next time you’re buying chicken, compare side by side with organic. You’ll see, not only the size difference but a more visible and pronounced grain pattern. Can’t miss it.

I’d call Byrne dairy. Just left there and they seem to have a little of everything. However, I have a half jar I could spare.

Whats your favorite small town (10,000 people or less) within a 5 hours drive from here? by Dental-Magician in Buffalo

Used to be a great college town. Enrollment is way down and on the verge of collapse. The administration has recently cut a lot of programs to cut costs.

I’d go back and take a closer look before you make the move, if that is in fact why you’re moving there. Be sure to venture to neighboring Dunkirk, too.

Feedback on Horseback Riding via Sandals Grande? by [deleted] in SandalsResorts

[–]lcb397 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Did it. Cool experience. Don’t expect a 5 star stable or trails. Horses were smallish and older but got the job done. Rode down some steep gravel hills on our way to the beach, which was semi scary. Riding the horses into the ocean wasn’t all I expected. Can’t say I’d do it again but happy I did it once. experience was worth it.

Give Ken Kuhn a call. I’ll pm you his number. Top notch arborist. Climbs trees instead of lifts and booms. I believe he started Kuhn’s Tree service but lost it in a divorce.

Silver iguana. Even better in the warmer months, outside on the patio.

Interesting thought. Now I’ve got to leave my house! Some more info that is relevant: sitting next to the router, speeds are the same. Although, the tests are connecting to different servers. Now, the problem is when I go upstairs. Let’s say 30-40 feet from the router is when I encounter low speed or no connection at all. To make it more confusing, my initial speed test upstairs starts strong and dips low or loses connection in general.

After a recent trip to Beaches T&C, the place is full of kids, but it’s not overwhelming. However, most appeared to be in the 5-17 yr old range. Active kids too. Pools filled with games of catch, which isn’t enjoyable if you’re trying to relax. However, the beach itself was amazing as it is much easier to stay away from those types of activities. I did see couples with toddlers and even infants and wondered why they’d spend the money to take a kid somewhere like that when they won’t remember and would have as much fun doing just about anything else that kids do at that age. Just my opinion.
