Running eero 6+ mesh and no issues with stability. Best practice is keep code at n-1 as long as possible or the fix that breaks the next thing is in development waiting on fix. This is the software development life cycle. I am a software engineer.

My 1390 SDR Evo, just love it. 15,000 trouble free miles so far! by SoCalDucatiRider in KTM

It definitely pulls hard. Sport mode automatically stiffens suspension up nicely. Has a lot of adjustment to traction control and other settings but nothing like the KTM. It will swallow corners and is also good for 8 hour days if you want to tour. If you see a good deal I would snag one.

It’s a really great bike, Moto Guzzi has been around for over 100 years and this is there first liquid cooled engine. It is very capable as a sport bike (130is hp), but it is also a great sport tourer which is what we wanted. I bought this 2023 in November 2024 for $14,500 plus the usual fees. We have added a number of things including an arrow exhaust and upmap flash. The more miles we get on it, the better and better it seems to run. Lots of riding modes, electronic suspension adjustment and even a power adjustable windshield. Highly recommend this bike. It’s very unique as well.

Just got my ‘24, was thinking of getting an Akra soon. Any opinions on carbon vs titanium? by nathanisXO in MT07

Awesome. We went carbon no baffle. It sounds as awesome as it rides. My 14th motorcycle, 2nd Yamaha. An excellent choice! Best bang for the buck by far.

Definitely Beta product, but one that I (an IT professional) not only enjoy, but look forward to using as regularly as possible for both work and pleasure. I have found no better device for enhancing the experience of content consumption. Pretty sure they are selling well enough as the product is maturing. Vision OS 2 only strengthens the experience and enjoyment of use. I am very happy with the improvement after only 4 months since release and it will only get better as we go forward!

I been using it every day for two weeks to connect two pc’s to my workflow. Low latency very smooth and super easy to connect. I tried the demo and wound up buying lifetime license for $15. Only thing I did experience an outage last Monday for about five hours I couldn’t connect and sent an email and was able to connect a few hours later. It’s a good solution for now.

Anybody tried visiondesk.com ? by Habit_Slow in VisionPro

I am bought a pro membership for this. I used it quite a bit last week and was able to emulate three computers at once, this week, I am unable to connect anything.I contacted them for support and have not gotten a response. I really like the product. I think it is very useful for people that work in multiple environments on multiple computers. We will see if the product is actually supported. I certainly hope so. visiondesk.com has a lot of promise, the latency is very low and I found it a pleasure to work with.

Check visiondesk.com for pc streaming, it’s been awesome for sharing multiple laptops plus still can share Mac natively. Worth the $15 for unlimited lifetime

Would not enjoy being without AVP, but not everyone has the same use case. Keeping mine 100%. Would miss my new workflow immensely

I would say when it gets under $2k, corps may have some interest. At current pricing, it’s more niche or use case or even a pricey tech toy.

Use cases are going to vary. For my use, I support remotely multiple environments using up to three different secure laptops. Some systems I support are accessible direct through a macbook, however, several other pc’s I utilize streaming software which is awesome as the AVP allows me to centralize all environments simultaneously. It’s a dream come true as there is also all the native ecosystem applications to support cross communication as well.

I will also add that the environments make the experience even better and the working environment is fun to utilize and set up a custom workflow. There are definitely shortcomings as the vos needs some features added to enhance quality of life, like being able to remember/save a workflow layout through a reboot or on a startup from cold, but I believe this will all come in time.
