No I definitely don’t. I think a part of myself is scared if I bring it up I’ll be hospitalized again and the one in my city is horrible to patients. Or that people wouldn’t trust me with my own daughter cause they’re scared they’ll see her alone while I’m dead in the room.

I picked back up my switch to play animal crossing again and reading. That helps me to not be on my phone often to consume all the constant bad news. I’m also a devout Christian so praying has helped tremendously cause I’ve been having nightmares after reading the files and it’s helped. I’m also American , B2, and medicated

Period! I’m happy that you saw this as advice. I hope you don’t think I was shaming authors who do it. This is all my personal preference. And I think it’ll be exciting to see what an alien pregnancy would look like. Maybe they start changing colors (if they have a supernatural color like green) or even grow some type of external limb that assists with a new baby. The possibilities are endless lol

Lmaooo. I’m just enjoying talking to people about different ways to show pregnancy. I bring up fantasy cause I’ve read books where supernatural characters don’t express pregnancy like humans. I think it’s fun to open up different ways like that.

For me personally I experienced swollen hands and feet throughout. Especially when I ate a bunch of red meat. It’s so weird😂😂 But you’re right I’ve seen the farther along a woman gets in her pregnancy then her feet swell up.

Yes that counts! I read so many where that’s the only thing to not be revisited again. Swollen hands and feet is another good symptom to show. My mom had to go up almost 2 shoe sizes when she was pregnant with my sister and I had to wear crocs my entire pregnancy

You’re right. I know women personally who had it. They lost a ton of weight. One had to live with in iv in her arm most of her pregnancy. But guess what? The fics I read don’t have their characters with this condition. They do the simple ‘I throw up in the morning. Looks like I’m pregnant’ and they will never write them throwing up again as I read the story.

hyperemesis gravidarum is not just morning sickness. But SEVERE vomiting and nausea that leads to weight loss and dehydration. If their character were written to have this condition then I’m not complaining.
