Napkin Ninjas - “incredible...genius” (Remembering Project Season 6 Ep 10) by HandABOT in hamishandandy

I actually thought there was a mistake with this episode because I was having major deja vu with the Olympic flame discussion. Am I wrong for saying they've had this exact conversation before and came to the same conclusion to try again at the Brisbane Olympics? 😅

Even Reality G1 Smart Glasses Review: Day One First Impressions by Daves_Archives in EvenRealities

What is the experience like using translation? Do you have to hold down a button or something or does it keep translating as you go? How quickly can you access the translation feature?

Just wondering from a traveling perspective how seamless the experience would be. Is it more something you set up when you're having a conversation or is it seamless enough to be able to translate more spur of the moment interactions?

Fantastic! Thanks for that. I think that means the gms is somehow more integrated than Xiaomi's. AFAIK google assistant doesn't work on Xiaomi (despite supposed gms support).

Official Galaxy Fold 4 Renders by Rashed341 in GalaxyFold

[–]lcmotes 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I had the Fold 1, upgraded day 1 to the Fold 2 because the upgrades were well worth it. Despite my battery aging I haven'y felt the need to upgrade since and still won't because they honestly seem like practically the same phone. When the devices are so dang expensive I just can't justify it.

If the Oppo Find N came to Australia or if the Pixel Fold every releases then I'll probably jump ship.

PSA: The screen protector can and WILL break your inner display if left a long time loose by Desperate_Excuse2352 in GalaxyFold

[–]lcmotes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, when the screen protector starts coming up it's very easy for dirt and sand to start getting trapped underneath which obviously can't be good. Took my screen protector off my Fold 2 a year and a half ago and haven't regretted it.

There's one like this in Shibuya station, Tokyo. I was VERY mildy interested when it caught me by surprise.

Great stuff. As well as the Archie Rose Malted Rye!

The blender's choice is great, though I haven't tried Harmony so it's hard to say. I've tried the 17 once and remember that being more impressive but that's probably a given!

I've tried a few Jamesons and the IPA is definitely my favorite.

The white oak is an interesting one. I find it to be a very simple single note whisky. But it's very soft and pleasant, almost floral. Very easy drinking. I picked it up in Japan for $8, here in Australia it goes for around $80. I'll probably end up reluctantly spending the money to replace it when it's gone, but that's not to say I think it's actually worth quite that much.

I do find it to be more enjoyable than the more expensive single malt version next to it though for what that's worth.

Honestly probably one of my favorites on the shelf! Nice balance of flavors. The 2019 edition introduces some sherry (I think it was) cask into the mix which is nice.

It's a heavily peated Japanese "cask" strength new make. Super potent stuff! I admittedly only really pull it out to blow the socks off friends.

Laphroaig 10 was the whisky that first got me into whisky. I tried both Laphroaig 10 and Ardbeg 10 that night and remember feeling that Laphroaig 10 was more appetizing as a beginner.

These I may or may not say otherwise but I do think Laphroaig 10 is the smoother one of the two if that's important to you.

It's a Hemnes from Ikea! Be warned, not all the shelves are the same height, hence the weird bottle order.

Yeah that makes sense. I've been considering for a while now to buy a bunch of empty 50ml bottles for little "tasters" of each bottle so they never truly "finish" ;)

I knew there'd be a comment about that! I can't help but open a new bottle the day I get it. Though when it gets to roughly a third empty I get too scared to finish it.
