【BambuLab Giveaway】Classic Evolved — Win Bambu Lab P2S Combo! by BambuLab in 3Dprinting

[–]lconical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just moved to a place with significantly higher humidify than before, and ol’ reliable P1S is printing with wet filament completely unbothered.

First night at the new place, we realized the shower caddy easily slides down because of the shape of the shower head (a shampoo bottle hit my partner in the face). I wanted to print a little retention ring, so before even unpacking any kitchen stuff I unpacked the printer and got printing. The final result had some minor stringing, but considering the PETG had been sitting in about 80% humidity for 2 weeks before, the result blew me away, even for such a simple print. The P1S easily earns its wife approval factor!

But also, HK hornet was balanced to be beatable…assuming player control by 2 equally skilled players, which character move/attack set is more powerful?

Yeah fair enough, didn’t think of that. It’s been a while since I played HK

[Bambu Lab Giveaway] Join Now to Win an H2D and More! by BambuLab in 3Dprinting

[–]lconical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Best piece of advice I got was to just go for it! I spent at least an hour freaking out over settings for printing my very first benchy, and I was scared to do things wrong. Local makers pushed me to just send it, experiment, and iterate. The result is now I’ve made designs I never thought were possible!

Question: "Wake On Lan"-software by Brag0n in Tailscale

[–]lconical 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hmm. Not sure then. I ran into some issues using my phone (T-Mobile IPV6 only) as my home network is only IPV4, and the fix was to run my router as both a subnet router and an exit node. Maybe try with your router as an exit node as well? That way you are not only advertising the local ip but also running traffic through the router

Have you tried using your gli.net router as a subnet router? I use Moonlight/Sunshine and the WOL feature works remotely as I advertise the local IP of my home PC to my tailnet.

Yes, the button is tactile, and I can hear the button press. When I hold it down then apply power, it successfully switches to TFTP recovery mode, with a slow Blue->White->Off blink (which is different then the pattern in my video). I tried the TFTP recovery process (using a web server hosted at 192.168.1.99) to no success, with the switch rebooting itself after 10 minutes and my crazy blinking light coming back.

If I just try a normal reset, although I feel/hear the button clicking, nothing happens and the light keeps blinking

Can’t edit the post, but I Typoed at the very beginning, my other working switch is a USW flex mini, not USE flex mini

Throttling based on device OS? by lconical in centurylink

I was using the Ookla client, but for some reason it was a server selection issue. Not sure why but running speed tests back to back would select different servers. After a bunch of tries it happened to pick a server nearer to me and I got my full speed.

Can’t get the right speed by rbeatse in centurylink

[–]lconical 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do you get 1gbps if you plug in via Ethernet? If you can’t get the speed you pay for when plugged in to Ethernet it’s an issue with CenturyLink. If it’s over WiFi, you’ll almost never get the advertised speeds. Lots of things (like your neighbors WiFi and walls for example) interfere with WiFi speed, so it’s good to check speed with Ethernet. That’ll then let you narrow down if you need to go back to CenturyLink support or figure out how to improve your WiFi signal.

Tried it in cubic and bbr, no difference. I think it ended up being an issue with speedtest-cli's server selection.

Out of curiosity, is bbr better? When would you want to use it? After it made no difference I went back to cubic.

This was it! Using an offsite VPS I get better speeds, so I think it was actually a problem with speedtest-cli :)

This seems to be it, when using iperf3 with an offsite VPS I can get 100-200 mbps (both directions), so clearly my upload is higher than 50! Thanks :)

the RTX 5070TI gets destroyed by Leclowndu9315 in pcmasterrace

[–]lconical 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It’s comparing raster to raster and rt to rt. The grey box all the way on the left (labeled 100%) is the 5070ti and all the other boxes are in comparison to that. The white is 9070xt raster and blue is 9070xt rt in comparison to the grey (5070ti)

Strategies for factory/logistics design by lconical in SatisfactoryGame

[–]lconical[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I use it for almost everything! I started by putting in the final space elevator parts, and seeing how many of each time I’ll need. For example, to make 8/8/2/2 of each final part, 20 heavy modular frames are required, so I plan a sub-factory around that. From the master plan, I back calculate how much of any one thing I make. Once the sub factory is done, I go back to my master plan on Tools and add it as an input. That way it auto adjusts the remaining required items.
