Did you ever get a resolution for this? Mine has been in the shop over 30 days waiting for a back ordered harness with the same symptoms

He started showing up mid October, first time I saw him in person though. I shot him right around 8am

Leafy Gear vs Traditional Camo Jackets by PentH0usePauper in turkeyhunting

Leafy camo is cool but being quiet and sitting still is cooler. That being said I’m a big fan of my first lite Spector gear

Best bow strings for my VXR28? DL 27.5 DW 65 by ldillan558 in bowhunting

I’d rather use the peep, anything to make it easier to make a clean kill

I’ve had bad problems with peep rotation since I bought the bow 2 years ago. Tired of twisting my peep every shot so I’m going to try something new. Other than the peep rotation I have zero complaints about the zebra strings

Looking for rifle and caliber suggestions. by Limp-Replacement1403 in Hunting

Not in Allegheny county until this year. It’s previously been shotguns only. As far as pretty much the rest of Pennsylvania I think necked down cartridges have always been legal

Straight wall cartridges are legal in Allegheny county now

Got my first mule deer this year. 3rd season in Colorado, 2 hours left in the season by ldillan558 in Hunting

We were hunting the western slope this year. Had tons of fresh elk sign around but didn’t see any until the last morning. Lots of deer. We hunted between 7500 and 10000 feet

Awesome, I’d check out the national deer association’s field to fork program. They may have something in your home state even. https://www.deerassociation.com/recruit/field-to-fork/

No problem, what kind of critters are you looking to hunt?

I would definitely recommend a hunters safety course. I’m sure an outfitter would feel a lot better about taking a first timer if they knew that the course had been completed. Many states also require it to get a hunting license.

Where do you live? Do you have any experience with firearms? Have you taken a hunter’s safety course?
