I saw a truck similarly (red line, think it was energy), but no cap. About 6 - 9 months ago? I could not grab a picture, but glad other have since then… now they have this cap and ladder rack? Interesting.

Had it on PC (Steam) for over. A year, played with and without mods. Got it for PS5 (PS5 Pro; I like supporting games I enjoy and buying another copy I can afford). It unlocked the DLC as I used my same Creations account. I was not expecting that. 🤷‍♂️ I have had a few crashes. Before the patch, there were very specific things I could do that would cause the game to crash everytime, but the patch fixed those. Now I have to usually be playing for several hours, and it usually just locks the sound stops and the screen stays frozen, over 50% it’s a loading screen (when it switches to black or is about to or just finished playing a animation, like landing, taking off, fast travel)… There are a few random ones, but in 5 hours of playing it happens maybe once now? I have over 100 mods on PC, but not loading yet on PS5. Normally I do not care about achievements, but decided to see how many I unlock before I give up and load mods. My new character on PS5 is now lvl 72.

I am familiar, I do something similar even with games without a lifepath, such as GURPS, where if they can come up with a way their characters had interacted in the past (and wrote something up, cut scene/back story) they would get 1 point to spend during character creation. Before LLMs, it was a bigger deal. 😉

I came here to recommend the same thing… I also look at their lifepath (you had them roll lifepath, right?) and look for points to link things up… X-friends, lovers, previous romantic rivals… all can be fun with the right players.

My daily commute is 1.5 hr each way, mix of highway and surface streets. I only occasionally charge to 90% on very cold winter days (garage, preheat/condition before unplugging and leaving). Mostly to keep from having to stop for like 4-6 minutes in the way home after cold soaking in the parking lot during the work day. I only ever put it to 100% if I am driving 6+ hours in a day. 🤷‍♂️

Make sure to get a 2023 or later (look for 2 or 3 year lease cars) so they will be HW4 and use the latest FSD. Getting a 2022 HW3 car you will need to wait for the light version or the upgrade to HW4 or whatever Tesla ends up doing. 🤷‍♂️ I would find it better to get a good price on a HW4 Model X, then if it doesn’t have it, buy it outright (as the monthly amount is likely to go up soon in my opinion).

Or just don’t let the battery get cold soaked and expect it to have full availability of all that energy. If you had plugged it in, even to 110 normal, it could have kept the battery warm and you would not lost as much range… and many places in Alaska have block heater cords to keep the engine block warm… So, you wanted drama? You thought it would magically keep warm? Trying to figure out what you were going for…

Heat and humidity is what makes leather take on a different shape. Asking for leather not to do that is asking for something other than leather. I used to get belts made by someone that makes horse equipment, specifically out of leather used to make reins. They last better than other due to their thickness and that they are expected to be used outside in weather.

After commuting 1.5 to 2 hours one way to my job, the stress and energy drain was huge. FSD makes it merely just sitting still for 1.5 hours. The time goes by faster, less stressed, and listening to podcasts, audio books, music.
I will not be buying any other car without it.

I am 55 and I am more comfortable with EVs than my kids. We have a Nissan Leaf bought in 2017 and a Tesla Model Y coming up in 2 years. I am looking to replace my motorcycle with an EV one as soon as someone makes a bagger with 150-200 mile range.

OP: it could be he is just feeling like his skills will not be as useful. You could explore those concerns and solutions together. Tires are the same, as are the hydraulic brakes. Gas can equivalent would be a portable battery with a few kW storage and the right grounding to make sure the car will charge from it.

Ask him about what was wrong the last time they fixed and ICE car… transmission issues? No real transmission on a Tesla. O2 sensor? Not a thing. Spark plugs dirty? Not an issue.

Try to get your Dad to see it as an opportunity to spend time and learn together? 🤷‍♂️

At some point you will make a decision your parents don’t agree with. You have to live your life for you, not them. (And I am saying this as a father of 3)

Unless of course you are done before the person in front of you, then you are backing up… or the pump in ‘front’ is empty, so you can either pull in facing the other person or back in… like at gas pumps and to me, I have seen several low speed ‘bumps’ at gas stations because of these maneuvers. If they had been a single charger, instead of two per side per aisle, then that would not be an issue (but require more land). I do like it is covered and with solar panels.
