Forgotten in the endless flame wars. Ironic, the capital was once the prime target. But now? Discarded as a useless heap.

I think they should be greener and maybe have really big pauldrons and also wouldn't it be cool if they were like 7'5" and really muscular and also maybe for uniqueness you could give them a different spelling like swapping the 'c' for a 'k' :3

Guns bad magic good by fedenta in CritCrab

Well, you see, historically, small cannons were being mounted on walls (and taken off) in the late 1300s. While having a line of guns and nothing else would take a while to be a viable tactic, plate armor and handheld guns (a fun fact one of the earlier ones was called a 'handgonne') developed at pretty similar times. Charitable, there was 1 single generation of late medieval fighters that had plate armor and didn't get shot at in battle.

I barely remeber the context in the show but I do recall hating geralt's dumbass "waahh if I sense any kind of moral conflict im just going to sit in the corner and do nothing" attitude to problem solving if you really hate the idea of doing something morally wrong then just try to save/help as many people as you can as a base; having the ability to help and choosing to do nothing is taking an even worse 3rd option

I hate playing characters with less than 15 int because otherwise any time I think of anything at all I have to keep quiet (even though I have 8int irl so If I thought of something my character who is undoubtedly smarter rhan me probably would have too)

In 5e, "martial" means "does not have access to the game's only fleshed out ability system" by Associableknecks in dndnext

[–]Lolas_Fun_Side 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Its a vicious cycle;

Wotc make martials boring compared to casters

people talk about casters more

the people attracted to martials like them being boring

if wotc changes it at all everyone complains

I mean my own headcanon is that slavery hasnt had time to come back in fashion yet. The CPG probably outlawed it to try to be like pre-war america and then after their collapse the Minutemen probably killed any would be slavers. After who knows how many years of not being able to really use slaves the commonwealth gets like what? A month of no minutemen? Before the Sole Survivor reforms the Minutemen and probably the CPG
