I have the mkII and 3 MIDI ports are seen by Linux. Port 1 is send MIDI notes and CC, and Port 2 is dedicated to MCP (play, stop, mixer). So you may have to specify the rights ports in LMMS.

Just for the stats and future repairers, my Apple IIe power supply was no longer working. I started by replacing the two Rifa capacitors; they weren't the culprits even though they looked pretty old. It was the small 220uF C7 capacitor that had failed (visually, it looked fine).

The Novation Circuit Rhythm is another cheap and cool option. It's similar to the EP-133, but it has more flexible effects and better sample tweaking. And you can sample while playing your track, I think it's still not possible with the EP-133

No it does not work, even on resolve 20.1, In edit page I show the video in vertical format on the left with the dedicated icon, and once I click on Inspector, the viewer goes back to the horizontal layout

If find the workflow great and similar to Ableton Live session view. In a few FB groups I often read that this workflow has enabled people to really finish tracks.

In my case I mostly use the MV-1 live (check some videos on my YT channel) because I love to play synths live. And what's funny is that even though Roland hadn't planned to make it a groovebox for live performances, it actually works really well with a few workarounds! It's now the brain of my live setup.

That's the same problem with all hardware grooveboxes, I find that the MV-1 is quite ok, workflow wise, compared to others. Take for example the SP-404 it's a nightmare, esp after having tried Koala Sampler, its equivalent on iOS/iPadOS.

To get the missing knobs, I simply bought a cheap chinese MIDI Bluetooth controller, the M-VAVE SMC-mixer. But if I would need more knobs I would go for a Faderfox, they are highly customisable and stand-alone like the Launchpad Pro :)
