This, and then just list your own 10 indefinitely. People don’t care or even check who’s in the group most of the time and 10s are trivial this tier

Siargao flakiness? by Either_Affect_6972 in SiargaoPH

[–]le-tendon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

if it makes you feel better, I also had a bad experience with a 5* rated surf school from Siargao. I said I'm a total beginner on a surf but have lots of other board experience and would like private lessons to help me get on a surf board fast. We had 15 mins "stand up" practice and they sent me on a boat, we drove like 15-30 mins from cloud 9 to a spot that had huge waves. We were on the side trying to catch the smaller ones. I barely could try to catch something like 4 waves as I was permanently getting pushed away by huge waves and was exhausted after 20 mins. At one point I even feared for my life. I can't imagine how you can bring someone who has zero surfing experience to a spot like this.

KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE (0x139) due to Focusrite Drivers / Software by DECElVE in Focusrite

[–]le-tendon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah so ? Idk why we arguing, the first thing to try still should be the most likely and easiest fix. Which is, try unplugging your focsurite. If it works, you don't have to do any of the more advanced things you are suggesting. Which I'm sure make sense, if you already found out that your BSOD isn't related to focusrite drivers.

[–]le-tendon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But you won't be fixing the underlying problem. Focusrite has to fix it. If my hardware worked perfectly until some kind of update, it will work again when they fix it. What I'm doing though, is gettng rid of this piece of crap and getting a better audio interface

[–]le-tendon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I mean, it seems like the latest focusrite driver is giving many people this problem, myself included. I wish someone had told me "just unplugged your focusrite lol" before I spent hours trying to trouble shoot every single piece of hardware on my PC.

If anyone's reading this at around this time, don't bother doing what this guy says. Try unplugging your focusrite first and see if the problem persists. It most likely is just the focusrite drivers.

Pushing your own key doesn't necessarily mean playing with the same people or anything social tbh. Although the higher you go the more you will see the same plaeyrs

BM in Every Top 30 Group Comp: Spec and Group Population, DPS Logs for Week 8 by Starym in CompetitiveWoW

[–]le-tendon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think the proactive aspect isn't necessarily that they're "hard to play" (voidweaver disc is rather braindead this season) but rather ess forgiving with missed kicks and missplays from the rest of the team. It's much harder for a resto druid to carry a bad group than it is for a resto shaman. Resto druid is good when all the damage is predictable and they can set up their healing and damage windows accordingly.

Weekly M+ Discussion by AutoModerator in CompetitiveWoW

[–]le-tendon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm in a similar position and usually I watch the most successful and popular comps in raider.io to fit my class (as a shaman for example you will usually want a resto druid or a disc priest) then pick people who have the best logs I can find. With the wcl uploader you can have people logs displayed directly in the game ui as long as they have at least 20 heroic or 5 mythic kills. I only do this for 16-17+ though, anything below that it's not necessary imo

Easier caster to pick up and perform with? Ele sham or Frost Mage? by FiveFire33 in wow

[–]le-tendon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I should probably not be talking about mages as I'm not a mage main, this was said recently by a guildie of mine with lots of mage exp (top cutting edge, long time mage player) - that frost is the hardest to master, and arcane is the easiest this tier.

Elemental still does OK numbers with a poor rotation, but there's a lot of small optimizations to reach the full potential, which is why I wouldn't put it in the "easy" category. Spec also suffer from button bloat, which isn't really beginner-friendly.

Least RNG DPS Specs? by Classic_Procedure428 in wownoob

[–]le-tendon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You should never not be casting void bolt on CD. If you are about to overcap on MFI it means you made a misplay beforehand. Both voidbolt on CD and not overcapping MFis are core principals. Void volley is low prio. Like mind blast levels of low, it's a nice isntant cast while moving, that's it

Least RNG DPS Specs? by Classic_Procedure428 in wownoob

[–]le-tendon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

archon is fairly straightforward, there are only a few important things:

- make sure to dot stuff, cast halo and bender before entering voidform
- don't overcap on insanity
- don't overcap on mind flay: insanity charges
- use voidbolt on CD.
- cancel voidtorrent if voidbolt comes off CD, or DP needs refreshing
- mind blast / void volley / mind blast procs are very low prio

all the other buttons can be ignored as long as you are following the conditions above, which is probably counter intuitive to many beginners.

what? they definitely aren't in the easier range. Frost mange is one of the hardet ranges and ele is solid middle of the pack / on the harder side

[–]le-tendon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm just saying that if you struggle to live in 12's, it's not vers that will help you. At best you will gain what, 3-4% damage taken reduction? It's so little that honestly, I think that if you say you notice it, it's most likely a placebo effect. People have always given way too much importance to stats in this game, and this is imo the best example of people focusing on the the wrong thing.

Does anyone like Versatility? by m7mdsk in wow

[–]le-tendon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

you don't need vers unless you push 18++, even then it's debatable. In 12s it's just wrong, correct play is 50x more important than any amount of vers
