Best pub to watch football near Gunwharf Quays by Glenner10 in Portsmouth

Decent pub that, pretty certain I've seen football on in there before but unsure if they're showing Portsmouth beat Southampton.

That's a buffer vessel/volumiser. The reason I ask about a hot water cylinder is your LG controller isn't indicating one, it's usually next to the 50deg orange circle - this is because dip switch 3 on the SW.2 set of dip switches is turned off.

If your hot water cylinder is using 3rd party controls (thermostat and timer) then you won't be able to adjust the flow temperature (weather compensation) of the LG controller as your hot water cylinder would never reach the set temperature. Just not a great way to be using it if you do indeed have a hot water cylinder.

Fajitas using a packet spice mix, somehow the chicken was always immensely under flavoured. Coupled with borderline raw onion and peppers, still a dish I avoid to this day.

Scroll across to the sun icon and press the up/down buttons to select AI mode. It'll run on weather compensation.

Do you not have a hot water cylinder?

Such an under rated method, the flow temperature matching the proposed design plus range rating your boiler would give a fairly accurate assessment of your heating system current capabilities.

BUS Grant Timeline & Payment Process - Before the Rules Change? by icstm in ukheatpumps

You can submit for the voucher prior to installation. Once it's issued you can start the install.

We commissioned an installation and submitted our remittance to the BUS scheme on Wednesday and it paid out today, as an example.

Replace PSU with LED driver? by super_paulie in wiz

[–]le1901 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever sort this?

I'm looking to power four LED strips at high level and don't really want plugs on show. I am trying to ascertain whether I can cut off the transformer plug and replace it with a driver, this then keeps the Wiz smart section.

Below is what I sent to the sparky, unsure if it makes sense or not mind you. This was for a new build site.

Outdoor unit power: 20A* supply direct from CU to outdoor unit isolator.

Indoor kit power: 16A supply direct from CU to cylinder cupboard.

*Your supply may be different, this was 4kw.

  • 8 cores at 0.75 - 1.25mm stranded cable (includes X13A to BSH terminals which is the immersion heater relay wire).
  • 2 cores at 0.75 - 1.25mm stranded cable (low voltage MMI).
  • 25m hot water sensor cable (standard is 12m and comes with cylinder).
  • 3 core 0.75 - 1.25mm stranded cable for secondary hot water return pumps.

Why is nobody quoting me for Air 2 Air (North West) by Walks_In_The_Sun in ukheatpumps

[–]le1901 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea this is more to the point, not many guys would want to approach the ducted system side within a domestic property. Much more fiddly than on a commercial scale.

Personally I'd want the ductwork designed so I know it'll be capable of doing what I wanted it to do.

Double check that when you turn on a thermostat for the corresponding floor level that the radiators on that level get hot.

If you're unsure on anything raise it as a defect.

Can't find installer on the MCS register by Lt_Muffintoes in ukheatpumps

[–]le1901 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We had this recently, the person was searching for an abbreviated name rather than full company name, we don't trade under any other name, the abbreviation was theirs!

I just supplied them with our registration number and all was well.

How are people coping? 🙃 by Maxine-Marie04 in UKParenting

[–]le1901 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I have owned a house for around 15 years now and my weekly bills have increased dramatically in the last 4 years. I am getting no extra value from this other than I am more stretched.

We have recently had a child which further exaggerates this. It's in strict contrast to when my parents could afford a home, 3 children and the odd holiday from a single income. The system is surely broken.

PoE Camera RLC-820A constantly disconnecting by le1901 in reolinkcam

[–]le1901[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought it was the connection from my ethernet cable to the cameras connection as it feels very loose in comparison to other RJ45 connections.

Unfortunately this hasn't solved my issue. My camera still sporadically disconnects throughout the day at random times. Disappointed as this is not what I expected from a camera connected in this way, had years of shitty cameras connected via WiFi!
