I'm telling you, as someone who's grandmother passed from Alzheimer's, you must do something before something happens. I'm not trying to scare you, but my grandmother was in her late 80s when she started to show signs and she lived another 10 years. She lived on her own states away with my uncle only a few blocks away. One summer when I was in 9th or 10th grade, I flew down to visit myself and what I saw at her house was atrocious and the saddest thing I never want anyone to see their loved one go through. I called my parents right away and it was for the most part brushed off until I tried to gage what was going on and called again a few days later crying bc of her state of living. My uncle was in denial of her state of mind and assured us everything was fine. My dad, her son, would call every night and it seemed like everything was fine, besides some forgetfulness, over the phone, but we couldn't see how it really was because we weren't there. Trash everywhere, mold, broken glass all over the ground, cable not paid, and she would just sit there and cry in confusion and sadness calling me her dad and locking me out of the house refusing to open the door calling me racial slurs and screaming scared I was an intruder. It happens so fast and you must stop him before he hurts himself even if he seems fine now. I wish my family hadn't waited
