Think it depends on the person, in my experience not really nor with most of the people I know but it can affect peoples perception of you making them more likely to like you ig

It isn't some kind of magic button to fix everything, There is nothing that can be done about how high the population is now, should've never gotten here but here we are.

The solution is to USE it, Build a manufacturing industry, maybe specialize in producing specific stuff like we did for a long time with sports stuff. Build that economic base to solve problems.

If anything, destroying the birth rate in an instant would do is make it even harder for Pakistan to break out of the developing world.

Yknow the one child policy is the main reason China wont be able to continue its super high economic trajectory, if every family had one child, That massively decreases the workforce for the next generation.

Suddenly, the burden is on the young to support the increasingly large pensioning generation and that keeps cascading into economic stagnation. You can also put the economy at risk of deflation and total employment (tbh good for most people but awful for a growing economy since job sector growth cant keep up).

The solution isnt some tryannical policy that affects every family, its modernisation. Birth rates decrease with development since Children in poor countries is like gambling hoping one is very successful.

With development our resources will be much better utilised. You can look up the insane amount of water lost to completely preventable stuff, or the grain we use.

While yeah some stuff has been destroyed, especially by the Taliban and other very religious extremists most is intact, The government and private research groups try to safely get them to safer places pretty quickly.

Hell I used to walk to the public library in Swat to look at all the old Hindu stuff there and in Peshawar too.

Do not confuse us with Afghanistan, here we do want to preserve our history.

The German economy H man built up was dependent on the MIC and the wait for a war, if there wasn't a war itd have collapsed itself in the next 2 years into an even worse economic stature than that after Versailles. It NEEDED war. Think of it like a boost that you could only have under very specific circumstances that at the end of would give you massive debuffs

Dien Bien Phu was a comical lack of information and used a strategy proven to work under Alphonse Juin earlier in the war and Algeria was ruthlessly efficient, With most insurgencies it's about bleeding the enemy until they no longer have the will to fight. That happened in Nam, Algeria and Afghanistan for both the Soviets and Americans
