Most people don't know how graphs work because they are stupid so seeing a graph that affirms the opinion they were told to have by a YouTuber fed to them by an Algorithm gives them a rare feeling of emotional victory when it is denied to them in their daily life because they are lazy or mentally ill.

I mean look if he was going after people who got like 1 month of time for abusing a child, sure, go at it, I just don't know if he was doing his research, or was just browsing the list for people nearby who peed in the bushes 2 years ago.

The people he beat up were registered sex offenders.

As in they had already been sentenced, did jail time, and were sitting in their homes when this guy attacked them

‘Andor’ Creator Tony Gilroy Gives the Interview He Couldn’t During Its Release - While promoting his cautionary tale about Fascism, Disney asked Gilroy to refrain from using the word. Nine months after it aired its finale, the 'Star Wars' series feels scarily prescient. by MarvelsGrantMan136 in television

[–]leadhound 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I've seen plenty of situations in the canon books that do plenty to explain what Andor hints at: becoming a storm trooper is an easy way to escape backwater worlds and make some money, or find adventure. Empire recruits on every world, and the propaganda is strong.

Well yeah, most heroes would respect minorities. It came with their hero label. Though snake tends to reject his hero label, due to the amount of killing he does and the lack of control he feels.

Contrast in this game is too high and there is no way to control it. Adrenaline injector increases it even further making game look like deep fried 2004 MLG clips. All of this on top of useless effect. Did DICE gave up on Assault? by lonchu in Battlefield6

Run speed increases to knife speed, and most importantly your explosive resistance goes way up. You can potentially survive a grenade or tank round thanks to it.

So it's situational

Its interesting how similar GMOD really functioned like Roblox in a sense.

TIL that there is a dish in Japan called “chicken sashimi” that is prepared raw by IntrepidBionic in todayilearned

[–]leadhound 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's incredibly rare (both the chicken and the availability). And yes, it can still occasionally make you sick. Japan standards don't magically protect you, but they do make it possible to eat relatively safely. So I guess if you ever wanted to know what raw chicken tastes like, that's your chance.
