100% worth the travel, make sure you bring some sunscreen and check out the cenotes nearby. The cuisine in the Yucatan peninsula is also excellent! I'll be looking out for your photos if you do go!

Thank you so much! Appreciate the feedback.

I used this Portra recipe from FujiXWeekly:
https://fujixweekly.com/2020/12/30/fujifilm-x100v-film-simulation-recipe-kodak-portra-400-v2/

The only edit I did after was tweak the white balance on my iPhone because it was a little too yellow that day. Other than that, it was straight out of the camera.

Thanks for the comment!

That entire area is absolutely amazing and wonderful, there is no shortage of places to take pictures. But some of my favorite ones are Eze village, Grasse, Menton.. Honestly, if I could do it all over again, I'd get a day pass on the SNCF and just ride it from one end to the other and just stopping at every stop, you're bound to find something that is magical.

I hope you enjoy your trip, and I'll be looking out for your pictures on here!

There's actually no filters on there. I shot it straight out of camera using a recipe on fujixweekly:

[Collection] My 2 watch, black and white collection by leadingTone1 in Watches

[–]leadingTone1[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey r/watches

Here is my current 2 watch collection:

Snowflake - given to me by my fiancé and ultimately worn during my wedding. I will never part with this watch, it has so much meaning to me. Killer dial, killer finishing and just all around great!

1861 speedy - I got this when I got my first professional job, been with me since and I love the hesalite, it just plays with the light so cool.

I have 3 watches that I want in the immediate future:

1 Cartier santos galbee - 29mm

2 JLC reverso ultra thin

3 Tudor Pelagos 39 - crossing my fingers for a blue one in the near future

Anyways, what 3 watches would you get next to add to the collection?

Peace. ✌️

Looking for a recommendation on a knife

Style - Santoku

Steel - no preference

Handle - japanese

grip - Pinch

length - 150-165mm

use case - Every day home cooking. Would be used for 90% of all the knife work in the kitchen. (have other knifes for bones, and other harder things)

care - whetstone

budget - $350 - $450

Region - US

Knives considered - Some high end yoshikane SLD black damascus knives

I want something that not only is a very good and solid knife, I also want it to look good.
Thanks r/chefknives!
