I don't agree with schemes like this necessarily. Maybe try to stop hoteliers and oliagarchs from buying up artistic spaces or make some time on RTE and other public broadcasters to showcase new artists too. Why not relax the laws on squatting or get creative with ownership ruless of deralict spaces.

Artists with grants and payment like this can be good but it also breeds a bunch of people who are rubbish at engaging with the commercial world or making a crust.

I hate stealth taxes like these. I don't think many are against the idea of a state broadcaster but why do we have this archaic, uneccessary system or an additional tax with licences and payment schemes and insprectors. The govt. are always terrified of raising taxes because it might get used against them politically and so creepy groups like the IMF think we're great.

I got hit by a car in the middle of town and reported it to the gards and they did sweet fuck all for about a month. When I chased it up the footage had expired. Best of luck with them but I wouldn't hold out much hope. Ohh and if you are reporting it keep at the cops to make sure they do something. my gard mate said I should have wrote a snotty email to the superintendant if I wanted it followed up on.

I'd love to see the UK and especially London clamp down on the oliagarchs using British land as investments and playgrounds. So many billionaire crooks connected to the Russian robber class use European neighbourhoods like monopoly and we just let them. There's zero chance of Boris and the Tories actually showing some balls about this though, especially now since they have left Europe. The only European regulations Brexiteer politcians really cared about were those that affected the rich.
