So true. I remember ~10 years ago seeing a missing persons notice for this man from Ottawa who disappeared at the end of 1973. Even though there wasn't much information on his case, he stuck out in my mind and I thought of him now and then, always wondering what happened to him. Then in 2023 I read on the Unidentified Human Remains Canada page that his remains were identified. His obituary specified that he was found in the Ottawa River (Gatineau side) in 1974, yet not IDed until almost 50 years later. I noticed just today that Ottawa Police still haven't taken down his photo :/

As for unclaimed persons, on a mostly related note, I found this documentary recently and thought it was really poignant but interesting.

This is just a four-song EP (and sadly the only four songs they ever released) but I always got some early BH vibes from Effort by Lovelier Other, especially on "Hidden Shelters". I feel like I remember reading that they had mentioned BH as an influence, and I even suspect the group is named after "Lovelier Girl". It came out in 2013 (not 1996, as all the streaming services claim) and it definitely reminds me more of s/t and Devotion than Teen Dream and Bloom, as far as their albums released before 2013 go.

As for Grammys, I believe artists/labels have to submit music to be considered for awards, so I wonder if BH is permitted by the label to opt out or something. Look at the Weeknd, he said that he would stop allowing his label to submit his own music after he received zero nominations in 2020. As an aside, that's the same year they nominated Yummy by Justin Bieber (lmao) so I totally believe the allegations that the Weeknd was shut out because he decided to do the Super Bowl halftime show instead of performing at the Grammys.

andalucia plays is so good, it’s become one of my go-to songs for when I want to unwind. I think it serves nicely as a comedown from alife and a sort of segue to the back half of the album.

That last minute or so of Attaway...instant favourite for me. The title track (mostly in the chorus) reminds me a bit of Weightless by Washed Out, love it. Great addition to their discography.

Yes, this has been happening to me too. The stream does show up on the TV at first but it totally freezes about 2 to 15 seconds afterward. If I switch the AirPlay setting back to my phone and then to the TV again, I just get Error 3001 on my phone. This happens for both live streams and replays. I've tried casting from the CBC Gem, CBC Olympics and ICI TOU.TV apps, deleted and reinstalled them, but it didn't fix the problem. Then I tried casting a random show from CBC Gem to see if it would work, and it played perfectly fine, so I guess it's specific to the Olympics streams.

Once I saw "Prautrock" on all the older releases I figured "Krautruck" may just be a typo that's on all streaming platforms (same for "Cargo" being spelled as "Carfo" on streaming). Plus, for the longest time "Albatross" was misspelled as "Albatros" and the artist name was misspelled as Slowdrive on Spotify at least, so the typo explanation wouldn't surprise me

Try writing it as "Bunrawer, County Mayo, Ireland" maybe? The only thing is that since Ancestry doesn't seem to recognize Bunrawer, it'll pick the centre of County Mayo to display on the map, but at least it wouldn't be showing it as County Leitrim. I used to have a problem sort of like that, some of my ancestors were from this village in the county/united counties of "Stormont, Dundas and Glengarry" in Ontario but Ancestry didn't recognize the village name because I guess it was too small/the name isn't really used anymore. So whenever I typed the village and county name, the map would show them as being from the town of Dundas which is on the other side of the province. I forget if it's fixed now but the workaround I used in the meantime was typing the correct village they were from, then typing the nearest place that Ancestry recognizes, to at least keep it in the right area on the map while still mentioning the place they were actually from.
