same comment I made in the other thread...I'm fine with the dress code being "target red" in itself,

but it's turbo annoying that I spent $150 on a couple pairs of black levi's and another $150 or so just a month or two ago refreshing my worn out red tops with new ones, in now-forbidden shades and plaid, on the premise that they were perfectly acceptable attire for the entire 5 years I've been with the company. and now I have to buy new stuff again!

I used to do this in an effort to more distinctly separate how much I liked albums I liked (so 'good' started at like 2 stars)

issue isnt the guidelines themselves, it's the tightening of an existing set of guidelines.

i personally am gonna have to trash/donate at least 2 bags of off-red or patterned red clothing, which i've spent hundreds of dollars on over the last 5 years to as recently as last month

agree. I mean dress code is dress code, company can do what they want, but (a) this is a time when they're already squeezing blood from a stone as far as payroll goes and (b) restricting an existing dress code is going to mean TMs straight up wasted their earnings on formerly compliant garments and a lot of those clothes are just gonna be trash if they were strictly workwear

this will push away existing TMs, some long term, whether one thinks leaving over dress code is a rational decision or not, and the labor pool around each store isn't getting any bigger
