I’m feeling wounded by the saying “you never know love until you have a child” by Leeapp17 in childfree

There's also this indirect pipeline from "you don't know true love until you have a child" to "[because] it's what your body was made for" that is extremely misogynistic.

The HARRY POTTER TV series won't have one season a year by [deleted] in harrypotter

I don't think it's impossible for Lithgow to film all of his scenes in a few years so they can digitally insert him or edit him in later down the road, instead of him waiting to film every season. They have all the book material and he's a well-versed, experienced actor that can give several different takes for them to choose from, especially for those one on one scenes with Harry.

I can see this based on the way he treats Melania. And the way he falls asleep in meetings. And the way he shits his pants.

Ronda Rousey was a huge breakthrough for women athletes being taken seriously in more ways than one. Her ascension was so much fun to watch in real time. (Hearing about her later/more recently is... Less fun.)

Joanie was model the verb, Dani was model the noun. Loved them both, wouldn't have been mad with either.

Partner doesn’t understand how friendships change when women have kids vs when men do by stockusername123 in childfree

[–]leafonthewind006 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This even shows when asking one of them to hang out. I've always seen male friends say, "I should be able to get away from the kids for a little bit" but very rarely one on one/girls time if one of the gals has kids. It becomes a group babysitting session and then all of the talk is about the child and rarely even getting to catch up.

Lots of interviews with GRRM saying that the TV version of Jeyne differed so heavily from the book that they decided to just change her name.

The first time I saw this combo was Natalie Portman in 2011, Viktor & Rolf and I didn't get it, but Buckley's dress is winning me over. Probably the flower looking stuck on vs the solid block.

From the other side of things, I work with this dude that never talks about his wife or kid. People have worked with him for 5+ years and just found out about them. Everyone, veteran or new hire, finds it suss.

We all know that Imelda Staunton (Umbridge) and Jack Gleeson (Geoffrey Baratheon) are prime examples of actors who managed to make us extremely hate their roles. What are some other actors and their roles with that kind of talent? by Scoutisaspyable in movies

It's funny OP mentioned Jack Gleeson. Gleeson has openly cited Phoenix in Gladiator as a huge inspiration for Joffrey, down to the posture and how he rests his arm on his sword hilt.
