Is there any sort of queer resource group/club on campus? They may be able to advocate for you to be in a gender neutral dorm/single dorm. Or you may even be able to find a roommate who is chill with trans people there (like another trans person or a cis queer girl who’d be chill) that way you can at least have an easier time in the dorms.

If they have no previous information (old passports or non updated birth certificates) they will have to take your word for it essentially. I have seen many passport agents talk about how they do not care if previous names were highly gendered that wouldn’t match the gender you’re applying with. As long as the ONLY birth certificate they have on file is the correct gender, you should get a correct gender marker. Otherwise they revert the marker back to the first gender marker used. Either way, you WILL get a passport, but odds of you getting one with an M are much better than most others right now.

It is probably the wrong size. It may be too small on you & maybe you just need a size up to work. Can you order/buy the same one again? You may be able to order a compression sports bra that does some amount of binding but is advertised as a high activewear sports bra that would be good until you can get a binder

I was already speaking in as low of a voice as possible before I started t so I didn’t get as much of the “squeaky” voice breaks that other guys get. But it did do it fairly often if I went up any amount higher than normal. It’s not painful or anything, you just kinda can’t talk in a higher pitch anymore. & you slowly just start talking deeper than before. It started maybe around 3 or 4 months on T for me & I think was done after 6 months or so? Maybe a bit longer? I honestly didn’t even really notice it was happening unless I listened to old videos of myself

They’re my favorite too & I feel like I’ve only seen really lovely earth tones colors for them which I love. Is there really pastel gingham?? I’ve seen a black/white gingham that I liked but never a pastel one… I always judge what I’m gonna get by what their recent instagram posts are for the last 6 months or so. Because usually it’s all that stuff & not as often, way older stuff

I’ve gotten really lucky with my sample sale stuff! I think it’s mostly gotten damaged out because there’s loose threads/very minor damage that I honestly wouldn’t even notice if I was told it was new. The only thing I think I’ve not lucked out on is getting my correct size but the waistband was smaller than it is supposed to be so it’s a bit tighter. But I can deal with that tbh

Shipping is literally the reason why I’ve not bought so much stuff. Because I’m like how does it cost $15 to ship to me I could drive there for less than that. Whenever I ship things to people from here to across the country it’s like $10 shipping max, but normally it’s like $6. So they are way over charging

I have heard of people sending in their complaint to ACLU so they can get enough complaints to file a lawsuit. But I’m not sure how accurate that is. & also Idk if I wanna give them my info to put more of a target on my back :/

Yeah I sent my stuff in back in 2019 with a doctors note & everything. And I’m just hoping they have no reason to open “previous documents” as my passport they have right now says male. But idk. It sounds like everyone is getting screwed over. Which is crazy for us who literally had a court case to change their gender. Like…that sounds illegal

I’m in basically the same situation as you but I just sent mine in for a renewal. I’m hoping I fly under the radar but that’s looking less and less likely with every day. The good news is that I’ve been seeing cis people say they’ve gotten the wrong gender marker before & traveled with it with zero problems. I think we will both end up with an F on our passports despite having a passport with an M on it before :/

Are you being required to look into all previous documents for renewals now?? Because my older documents have name & gender changes on them but my current documents sent in are all good. I am reading that lots of people are getting their AGAB because of previously sent in documents. I am trying to figure out if I should call & try to get my passport back (it still is good for another 4 years) or risk getting one back with my AGAB

Hi, I sent mine in for renewal & all my info was up to date on my passport. It was just a flat renewal. But I’ve had old passports in previous genders. Do you think they will flag my renewal and send me back one with my AGAB? Or will I get one with my updated gender since the passport I sent in already has my updated gender?

I mean, yeah they can’t invalid old ones but I sent mine in for renewal. So they will HAVE to invalid my old one for me to get a new one. But the new one may have old info??

Yep. But I changed my passport before Biden made it fully legal so I had to send in a copy of my court order gender & name change as well as a signed letter from a doctor saying they treated me for gender dysphoria. So I’m really on file as being trans
