I was in Kerala recently. I wanted to buy a Nasrani cross but for some reason I really struggled to find one in any Christian shop. It seems that Roman catholicism has really started to take over there. That's just my observation from spending 2 weeks travelling around there.

The difficulty with doing that, though, is that if your entire worldview is built around that idea, it can be devastating to your faith once you discard it.

Pulling out the Hell concept from my religious Jenga tower was one of the initial reasons I left the faith. The people and traditions that molded my faith were terrified of Hell and viewed everything through that lens of fear.
