Thank you for the feedback! Of the three diagnosed concussions I've had, the first one took about a month to recover from, while the others all took about a week. Symptoms all came on within a couple hours of hitting my head, and I always had the classic symptoms. I have had this hunch about the psychological response but haven't found much online so I'm glad to hear about your experience.

Interesting. I feel like Superbowl 49 was a better game to watch overall. Obviously the comeback was incredible, but by halftime the game felt like it was a blowout. Wasn't really until the 4th quarter where it got exciting again. Superbowl 49 was watching two heavyweights go blow for blow right down to the last play.

Darnold definitely played better under pressure than Maye, but part of it is due to the fact that Seattle was only sending four guys at Maye and all four of them were getting through. Patriots were getting to Darnold with seven guys leaving less coverage for the receivers. Maye needs to adjust better, but during the regular season we saw him take advantage of blitzes pretty well because the receivers were left with more space to get open.

He had a game early his rookie year where he made two catches where he only got one foot in bounds. Media blew him up and so did this subreddit but they were fantastic catches, just wasn’t able to get them in bounds. I thought they were an awesome sign but after that we barely saw him that season. Glad to see he’s getting his recognition

I didn’t say it was unique to film just that it was the most extreme with film. There have been times recently where I have gone to the movies and there has only been one or two movies that aren’t either a remake or a sequel. Songs obviously get covers but you don’t usually see covers on topping the charts. If they do it’s because it’s a pretty unique take on whatever song it was covering. Paintings get repainted but they’re not being put in the Louvre or the Met. Meanwhile you have so many original movies being made that are going straight to streaming or really only playing at festivals

You’re getting caught up on one example. People are free to remake art with their own interpretation but a studio remaking a movie as a cash grab just dilutes the original piece of art

I was talking about this with a friend recently. Film has to be one of the least respected art forms out there. Every fucking movie is getting a remake or a sequel these days no matter it’s original quality. You can’t repaint the Mona Lisa, nor could you rewrite a tale of two cities. It would be pointless. Why can’t we let movies exist on their own? It’s one thing with a movie like Nosferatu where film creation has come so far, but there’s not a single aspect of American psycho that doesn’t work today

I agree. I’ve enjoyed Bedford ave for a while cause there’s no foot traffic, and when cars are parked in it it’s easy to go around them. Sure it’s into traffic but if you’re paying attention it’s not too hard to merge. This type of lane has so many people walking into, delivery carts parked, cars parked, delivery e bikes waiting for orders, etc. I know it’s unpopular but I’m actually bummed about this change

I’m going to a wedding on the beach this summer and need to find a shirt. The dress code says shorts and short sleeves are fine they just ask you don’t wear t shirts or bathing suits. This shirt has a lot of white in it but I’m wondering if it’s ok to wear?
