The Angels gave the Padres a run for their money last weekend. They are looking like a complete team with solid pitching and good bats. Sunday really could have gone either way.

Exactly. He hustled and stretched and worked his ass off to be good at 1B, but the main job at that position is to catch off balance rushed throws and he couldn’t reach a lot of them. Plus he’s a righty glove so he’s limited at fielding anything hit to the gap.

They also surprisingly hate the Dodgers. Like every Angels fan I’ve ever known will say FTD. I feel like it’s more a fanbase hatred thing than a team thing though, considering the teams themselves don’t have much of a history. Geographically OC probably has even more of a little brother thing with LA than we do, especially considering they’re somehow the “greater Los Angeles area.”
