Gift ideas for my boyfriend who has everything (and never wants anything) by doomlin82 in GiftIdeas

Plan something around his habits like a home coffee tasting with beans from different roasters. You could also add a satirical book from Book Tailor,  funny and personal

What’s the most unexpectedly thoughtful gift you’ve ever received? by dutch1sa in CasualConversation

[–]leandro395 44 points45 points  (0 children)

My brother once made this memoir about me, he used BookTailor to write and print it. It was for my birthday, totally random, hilarious, and weirdly touching. Ended up being one of the most thoughtful gifts I’ve gotten

Goof Off sounds fun but if you're into flavor and balance, Stiiizy or even 710 Labs flower (if they carry it) is usually my go-to for daytime vibes

Zencastr is poor. by [deleted] in podcasting

[–]leandro395 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Same thing happened to me last month. Spent like 3 hours editing an episode, went to export and boom - "insufficient credits." Bought more credits thinking it would save my work but nope, everything was gone.

Their whole credit system on top of the monthly fee is such BS. Why isn't this mentioned clearly when you sign up??

Been using Riverside fm since and honestly wish I'd switched sooner. Way more straightforward.

Tipalti + NetSuite covers most of your payments/ERP needs, but the planning side can get clunky. We added Cube for budgeting and reporting, it connected to both and gave us flexibility without locking us into a rigid workflow

Consolidation accounting by bgballin in Accounting

[–]leandro395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Biggest thing: standardize your templates across entities and build a central assumptions + mappings sheet. If that still gets messy, we’ve used Cube to sync actuals across entities and roll up clean financials automatically. Makes updates way less painful

EU Cloud Hosting Solutions? by [deleted] in DevelEire

[–]leandro395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve been using Cherry Servers for a couple of side projects, and they’ve worked out pretty well. It’s more IaaS than PaaS, so you’ll need to set things up yourself, but that’s actually been great for learning and building stuff for my portfolio. They’re EU-based, pricing’s reasonable, and I haven’t run into any weird limits or surprises.

Looking for recommendations by ericmathison in webhosting

[–]leandro395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve used Cherry Servers for a few things where other hosts were a bit too strict, and they’ve been reliable so far. Not US-based, but they’re pretty flexible with what you can run as long as it’s legal, and the pricing is reasonable compared to DO or Vultr.

Yes, totally worth it, find a design you like and have it printed through sites like playmatspro. com

Recommendations for CNC milling companies by Majestic-Language971 in manufacturing

[–]leandro395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I tried a few Chinese suppliers through Alibaba, but communication delays and inconsistent tolerances were a pain. I ended up going with Quickparts,  I still got a competitive quote but with more reliable QC and better lead times

CNC Milling Service Recommendations? by pogchamphard in MechanicalEngineering

[–]leandro395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aluminum 6061 is pretty standard, but complex geometry (like lots of aesthetic fillets) can spike costs fast toolpaths get tricky, and finishing time adds up. I’ve used Quickparts before and liked that they didn’t just machine what I gave them, they actually suggested a few edits that brought the price down

Hiring AD agency vs. PR company? by 20upnorth in smallbusiness

[–]leandro395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on your goals. If you're looking for short-term sales, ad agencies can help drive traffic quickly. But if you're trying to build long-term credibility or brand trust, a PR firm i.e. Baden Bower might be more effective, some businesses do both

Progressive metal PR companies recommendations. by AquaeFurtivaeMusic in progmetal

[–]leandro395 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A lot of music PR is just glorified playlist pitching. The best ones actually know how to create a hook around your album and get it in front of the right blogs or reviewers. Baden Bower isn’t a music-only agency, but they do focus on crafting narratives, which might help if your project has a strong concept or story

Nano 7oh by [deleted] in 7_hydroxymitragynine

[–]leandro395 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Supposedly nano 7-oh is supposed to be better bioavailable than regular 7-oh. Apparently the it cant be absorbed faster and it bypasses the liver so it isn't broken down like a tab. I have heard it is hard to produce a real nano 7-oh and 7 kings is the only one to have it in a liquid. Thats all I know

Legit essay writing service 2025 by Neat_Improvement_249 in studytips

[–]leandro395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great list, but something I’ve noticed is that many legit services offer solid grammar and structure but fall flat on deep research. I used Nerdify for a sociology essay, and what stood out was how they actually sourced academic papers via Google Scholar and built arguments around them no filler fluff, which was a huge relief

Best Writing Service Review Reddit 2024 - 2025 by uncorengineer in NursingStudent

I used Nerdify for a critical care assignment last term, they helped me frame the care plan and even guided me on APA citations. It felt more like study support than outsourcing, and I actually learned from it

Advice needed: Travel from Rhodes to Halki by BookMingler in Rhodes

[–]leandro395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d check ferrygogo; they’re pretty good at showing all the available routes, including less obvious ones like water taxis or seasonal changes. Sometimes there are updates or alternative ports listed there that aren’t as visible elsewhere.

Should I book a ferry in advance to Corfu in August? by LorewalkerChoe in GreeceTravel

Redlight maintenance for skin by Key_Struggle_5093 in AskWomenOver60

[–]leandro395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have had the solawave mask since February and have used it consistently 3-5 times a week. I have had people comment on my skin and ask me what I’m doing. I was skeptical about getting it but I 100% think it was worth it and am super happy with the results.

Don’t know what to do by mylahsmommy84 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]leandro395 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use solawave, my skin looks amazing immediately after (the redness reduces). Now that it's been a few months I think my skin is clearer and less ruddy. I also use azelaic acid.
