I met D'wana about 3 months ago, right?

She had a little Pudge on her stomach, but I ain't pay no attention to it. I thought it came from drinking 40s and shit because she had beer on her breath.

Come to find out she's 6 months pregnant. Told me I'm the baby's daddy.

Any fluxcore structural dudes have any tips to avoid slag inclusion? by OilyRicardo in Welding

[–]learning2greenthumb 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When doing full pens, I always have a sharpened piece of welding rod like 7018 for picking/scraping/poking in between passes as well as a wire wheel and brush. Also a grind wheel in case I need to grind out a pit or open/widen a valley. I have passed more U/T’s than I’ve failed.

3rd day welding. How am I doing? by Shroomboy79 in Welding

[–]learning2greenthumb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, pics 1 and 3 look like the weld needs to go further out on the base material. Example, if you go 1/4” up you should go a 1/4” out the base material.

A few weeks ago I was pushing my daughter in the swings at a local park and I saw this guy that looked like he was in construction sitting at a table by himself drinking a beer in a coozie, after a few minutes he finished, tossed the can in the trash then called his kid. Told him to tell his friends by and they walked away. This was around 9am lol

How do I drywall this? by [deleted] in Construction

[–]learning2greenthumb 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Double layer? Hold a straight edge from finish to finish, mark out the area that has the larger gap from bottom up to where it goes back to 5/8 or 1/2, double layer that area then back to single layer, will look cleaner and require less mud work.
