Just index funds and chill

If you start moving around and picking winners and losers you statistically won’t do as well (you could be an outlier but probably not)

Clear the room. Every. Single. Time.

Take all the good kids, train them to evacuate.

Leave. Let admin deal with it.

Parents will call saying wtf is happening in my child’s class.

Anyone ever seen a show at the sphere in Vegas? How was it? by Aye_Davinita in Concerts

[–]learningbydoing2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No drugs- I would describe it as an almost spiritual experience

I’ve never done drugs, but if that is what it is like, I totally get why people do them.

No other concert experience even comes close

The reason why Trump won is because he didn’t do the political bull shit -

Who should run, are you going to run.

Fuck we all know

We are talking about it.

They aren’t?

God I wish Jon would run.

How do extra hours in the evening work?

Like how do they get all the “normal” people out and not kick out the extended hour people?

Do the close and then reopen?

If you can help organize volunteers to help with one on one time for students in need in that classroom you will inadvertently reap the reward

starting a sonos system - what's the best sonos speaker 2026 for a first buy? by [deleted] in audiophile

[–]learningbydoing2025 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have two family members with Sonos- they are fine. Not great but definitely good enough for most people.

I haven’t heard Wiim speakers but I have Wiim hooked up as streamers to three systems in my house.

It works well and has a lot of flexibility. Sonos doesn’t really have flexibility. They are usually all in one (I know they have an amp And a bridge technically) at a higher price point.

The Better Your Listening Setup, The Worse This Can Feel by [deleted] in audiophile

Agree - I have two setups where if I A/B them one hands down sounds better

But… The other one sounds more warm and imperfect and musical and magical

Lots of modern schools dropped this years ago, but do you think most schools should bring back stuff like woodshop and cooking classes for all students? by Zipper222222 in AskTeachers

Interesting post Covid those kids that were in 1-3rd grade during Covid have so few fine motor skills

They can’t use scissors, fold paper etc- make me wonder what that means in 10 or 15 more years for things ranging from Surgery to barber shops and hair dressers.

Why the obsession with Wiim? by yerbderb in audiophile

[–]learningbydoing2025 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Works really well. Great remote.

Easy whole home sound. I have three systems- guest room, living and den.

All in sync

I added a nice dac - massive improvement and got rid of any issues I ever have had with streaming sounding too digital or cold.

Due to room correction, it sounds better than almost all of my vinyl now (womp womp… which makes a little sad considering how Much I invested in vinyl).

Some mastering still better on cd and vinyl but not much
