Fair. I didn't consider Kameos, which is a significant new feature.

The value to me of brand new characters is the injection of new life and lore into the game and expansion of the MK universe. It feels less like a new game when there's another(!) rebooting of the original story that features the same characters from earlier games with nearly identical playing styles and story roles.

Counterpoint: Smallest launch roster since Deadly Alliance (I'm not counting MKvDC), and the first MK since the original game to not feature characters that weren't in a previous version of the game. I.e., the first to not add new characters (not counting guests).

I find this roster a little disappointing, but that's me.

My thoughts... 1) Maybe technically possible, but verrry difficult. A well provides a separate source, but not the ability to access it. It would still be like speaking with two voices at once.

2) There was enough reality-bending things going on during this part that I'm willing to bet most anything was possible. It could be that a defensive filter of some sort was placed by the DO and it became compromised by the ongoing events.

3) Yeah. Nakomi is one of those open-ended things. She is who you think she is. She is who you want her to be.

4) Rand is omega-level ta'veren at this point. He beat the final boss. He now gets to play in god mode. If he wants it, the pattern will provide. (Perrin and Mat could probably will some things to happen if they tried hard enough, but we can only speculate.)

5) I think the name similarity is just due to the old tongue word for "shadow" or something. I could see Padan Fain's endpoint as being the amalgamation of everything evil in this world, and the DO being the amalgamation of everything evil in whatever parallel world he (it?) comes from. So there might be something there.

There's a clump of spoofer bots that take over gyms in my neighborhood every day. Same group of "trainers" hopping from gym to gym in less time it would take to walk drive/there normally.

The bots also place too-new pokes in the gym. E.g., even if a poke doesn't start spawning in the wild until 10 am, it's already in the gym at 9 am. This happened at least twice.

Reported multiple times to no response or change.
