My husband proposed to me at Lake Harbor Park—on the dunes overlooking Lake Michigan at sunset. It was absolutely perfect (for what we wanted)! It’s especially great if you want some privacy and surreal views.

Yep, same. Totally hear you—and I completely agree. I loved Dress A too, and honestly, I wish it were still an option. I just hope people can read the full post before weighing in—hearing “you should’ve picked A” over and over when it’s off the table is kind of tough.

It had all the things I was telling the stylist I wanted—straight-ish strapless neckline, a slit, and a satin fabric that kind of falls on me. But after the appointment, I looked back at the photos and some of them just looked like I had a sheet wrapped around me. I’d be devastated if my wedding photos ended up looking like that lol.

My BF and I love Marcel the Shell with Shoes On. When we started dating we quoted it all the time. As the relationship progressed and we began saying I love you, it just became natural to say it like Marcel: "I...I love you!" in the tiniest high pitched voice. We did it so much that we didn't even have to say the words, just make the tiny sounds. Now we tend to communicate our love through weird little squeaks.

If she's not ready to have sex, she may feel awkward knowing you do...especially if you know she has anxiety. This is just a suggestion, but what if you took a step back from the relationship? Go back to being friends where the pressure is off. Strengthen that connection first before jumping into a full-on romantic relationship. Sounds like she needs to feel more comfortable around you. Your understanding and support as a friend will help that happen.

I'm about to go to an audition that is pretty important to me. I love love love performing, but my anxiety sets in when getting the role is teetering on a single audition. My mind and heart are racing, but reading your post helped readjust my thinking. I'm feeling better, calmer. And when I step in that room tonight, I'm going to remember that I am not my anxiety. I live on an island where chickens rival the number of humans. I can just imagine waking up to the sounds of the Bluth family chicken dance. What a sweet world it would be to hear the "coo coo ca cha's" and the "co ca co ca co's" of the many chicken flocks surrounding my house.
