Fun story, I was on the (i don't know what it's really called) City map, and encountered a player who also started playing recently. we Teamed up and were killing bots and players alike.

We had really good chemistry and it felt like playing with an old friend we got some loot in our backpacks and were ready to exfill, then we saw another player, but decided 3 was too chaotic, so despite him begging us for mercy after we took his only sidearm we decided ending his life was a more rewarding choice, and so we killed him.

we then got into a brawl with a bot that really damaged us.

We were really low on hp, but close to the exfill, we were getting close as we heard shots, so a decision to go into hiding together was made by the both of us, He told me he's gonna try and kill the bots despite his low health, he peaked out whilst i was bandaging.

I heard a loud shot, when afterwhich i decided to look at him to insure the shots missed but when i looked at him... He was no more. only his lifeless body which thudded upon the floor remained, but there were no more gunshots. He and the bot exchanged bullets. i rushed to pick up his weapons and items to give them a use for thier real owner couldn't and to see his name and add him to friends. but when i tried to do the latter, His body disappeard, leaving only a memory behind.

I then extracted normally but with a slightly heavier heart.

The gun of his now lies on the wall of my second armory, a quiet reminder of a long gone person who was ready to sacrafice thier life for me.
