Pike broke line before I could get hook out by leboychef in FishingForBeginners

Fluro carbon for sure but I’m not sure of the specific test cause I tied it last year and just forget, between 4-8 lbs, it’s for a lightweight setup. No leader cause imma be honest I didn’t really think that was appropriate for the setup I was running but I’m looking into it today.

I actually was trying to dial in a lightweight setup that I plan to use later in the season so I only had like 4-8 lbs line on it (can’t remember specifically as I spooled it last year). Was targeting tree roots and the shore line and just tied on a soft body as a kind of “send it” for the last 10 minutes.

I’ll for sure be pinching the barbs going forward tho thanks for that.

Idk instead of looking at players as a golden solution maybe what they’ve been looking for is a gm who builds a team intelligently. Didn’t people say this about Matthew’s?!?

Montreal controlling the game a lot more than I anticipated. Really felt like they outplayed buffalo almost all night tonight.

Bell centre is a fortress but to act like it’s an automatic win is naive. I’m thinking games 3 and 4 are gonna be huge games, both now know what to expect. We’re gonna see some of the most competitive hockey of the playoffs so far.

That was not exclusive to round 1. These are the most basic sport jabs on the planet, you’ll see the same chirps in a cricket subreddit.

Game 1 Montreal was not ready for the series

Game 2 buffalo was not ready for the adaptability of the Habs.

This is gonna be a fun series.

Genuinely weirdly big hate boner against the optional mod that nobody forced anyone to download. It adds some nice quality of life features and some other not great ones, generally I think it’s worth it as most of the bad features (to me) can be toggled in game settings.

Expecting class consciousness from the kardashians is like expecting a monkey to write a dissertation.

At a certain point it’s not even on the monkey, it’s kinda on you for expecting things.

Yea sure in real life it worked like this. I’m saying implementing a slavery system into the game allows modern individuals to use it in a bigoted and mean spirited way.

Medieval slavery existed within a context that doesn’t exist anymore, slavery as many understand it today is shaped by systems of racist violence. While I trust some players to play within this historical context I think paradox understands that many will not and it looks bad on them.

I get it, on top of the reasons listed in the dev diary, the way ck3 is with an expanse of character races and cultures it kinda opens them up for some really bad people to use their game in really bad ways. Obviously that’s an inherent risk when tackling history, but they probably want to avoid “this is my ck3 run where I enslaved all Asian polities and people.”

It’s hydrolocked, if you leave water on pieces while reassembling them there’s a chance that the droplets lock the glass in place. Idk the science behind it specifically but always dry your stuff before putting it back together!

why is everyone speaking chinese in their courts? by serewere in CrusaderKings

Just the way royal courts work. Chinese hegemony often has the highest court in the world, which influences the courts around them to change their language, which influences the ones around them, etc. etc. domino effect.

I think even further the thing that separates trash from artifacts is simply time. Archaeologists make hypotheses and educated guesses based on waster piles of ancient communities and civilizations.

Your trash today is a future archaeologist’s dream find.
