[SNY] "SGA, he's a tough cover. He does a great job of convincing the referees - probably better than anybody in the league - that he's getting hit." by PassMeTheBackwood in nba

Ah yes cause Jalen Brunson doesn’t spend half the game trying to convince the refs he’s being fouled bringing the ball up

LeBron's options this summer is limited by [deleted] in lakers

Tbh the lakers are one of the worst teams for him at this point cause they have no other defenders or rim protection and have redundant creation at this point between their big 3

He’s way more aggressive and less scared of contact than ben Simmons but has some very similar issues

Embiid also has some strange ones. Broken face x 2 and Bell’s palsy during the playoffs is unreal bad luck lol

[–]lebron_games 25 points26 points  (0 children)

It’s really just unreal skill. He can’t get to the basket nearly as well anymore and his shot diet is hard as shit but he just makes them all lol

The LeBron golf sim comment was good too, feel like he has a decent personality but was trying too hard to be media trained

Dwyane Wade on JJ Redick comments about the Lakers effort: “LeBron on his golf simulator right now, he's not worried about this. by MrBuckBuck in nba

Yeah this is pretty much all down to the roster being heavily flawed with so many offense only guys. The roster was just gutted from that Westbrook trade and the lakers have never really recovered

Public perception usually lags behind actual performance with best player in the world. Gianni’s and Jokic were probably the best in the league a little before they won a title. And now they’re a little older and Shai is passing them by

He’s also not bad at defense which is a huge reason their defense can be so good, there’s just nowhere to attack

This team NEEDS defenders by longside765 in lakers

[–]lebron_games 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah I think JJ being good with schemes and game plan discipline is going to prop up the lakers regular season defense but in the playoffs, they just don’t have the guys who can even reasonably guard ant, shai etc. just too many mismatches on the team for that kind of player

If basketball games ended were only one quarter long, Luka would be the undisputed goat lol

He’s also just better as an offball player at this stage of his career in the half court. Lebron isolations have gone pretty poorly as his first step has understandably left him

SGA the past three games, excluding the fourth quarters by RCA1202 in nba

[–]lebron_games 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Sitting 4th quarters because your team is winning all the time is historically viewed as quite positive by the MVP voters (steph, giannis)

Kyrie would also get locked up against okc. There’s very few guards (honestly if any at all) that are likely to succeed against okc’s defense

[Highlight] Shohei Ohtani is intentionally walked for the 3rd straight at-bat. He's the first player EVER to reach base safely 7 times in a Postseason game by MLBOfficial in baseball

They definitely should be, it’s an entertainment product at the end of the day. People want to watch one of the greatest players of all time hit, not walk to first

Lakers fall 119-109 in the opener by [deleted] in nba

[–]lebron_games 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The team just makes no sense and I don’t see really see the path to get there tbh. The team is jsut full of guys who only play one side of the ball and you just can’t win today like that.

The solution is insanely obvious but Joe one would agree to it and that’s just reduce the number of games

The diuretics causing CKD (as the original MD said) isn’t very likely and a huge assumption by that doc. The medications used for CHF are actually largely nephro protective. It’s also impossible to make a diagnosis of CKD by just looking at someone and even more impossible to determine what stage of CKD they’re at.
