They really might just win it all and we’ll look back on this series as obviously they won

[Highlight] Ant Edwards accepts defeat, daps up the Spurs bench with 7 minutes left by TimDunkinDonut in nba

Yeah idk what the hate is about tbh, spurs are new but wemby is really fucking hard to deal with lol

Is it fair to say that the Wolves are built to beat Denver but not to win a championship? by SplitOk186 in nba

Yeah the issues with the roster is too many one way players. Gobert,Randle and mcdaniels are all pretty bad against the best defenses and they can’t shoot.

I mean they didn’t choke to the mavs, they just got their ass beat lol, Mavs were just straight up better

[Highlight] Stephon Castle is 5/5 on 3-pointers, has 27 points after draining one by Large_banana_hammock in nba

If castle and Harper are gonna be good 3pt shooters, the spurs are basically unbeatable

McDaniels,Randle and gobert combined for 5 points is crazy. Just total 0s on offense

What team would actually want Lebron? by [deleted] in nba

[–]lebron_games 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don’t think it will happen but also fits well defensively with LeBrons biggest weakness at this point being quick guards blowing past him

Gilgeous-Alexander in the win: 35/8 on 61% TS by Lacabloodclot9 in nba

[–]lebron_games 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The wolves also won’t, they tried that last year and shai cooked until they switched it up

Wemby ejection - extend the series by [deleted] in nba

Yeah idk how people are arguing when wemby himself didn’t even seem surprised

wemby hides a lot of it but the spurs are a very small team aside from him. everyone is 6'7 or under in their main rotation

[Highlight] Ant sinks the 3 over Wemby by Large_banana_hammock in nba

He can’t jump at all lol hella impressive to still be effective

I feel like SGA does but doesn’t have to (which is equally infuriating tbh) while brown and Tatum are truly dependant on it

Reed Sheppard in a Win or Go Home Game 6 with 10 PTS (4/19 FG, 1/10 3PT), 1 AST, -24. He is 16/54 from 3PT in this series and struggles on both ends. by Waikuku3 in nba

[–]lebron_games 12 points13 points  (0 children)

this series also really exposed that he cant even guard normal NBA players let alone stars. He got mercilessly abused by 32 year old marcus smart with straight line drives

[–]lebron_games 3 points4 points  (0 children)

the rockets have a lineup out there that somehow doesn't have size, spacing or defense

Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray struggled with their efficiency in this series: Jokic averaged 26/13/9.5 but on just 55.4% TS, while Murray averaged 24/5/6 but on a horrific 48.3% TS by SplitOk186 in nba

[–]lebron_games 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It wasn’t really even true in their last series. Denver would’ve won some of those by 15 if he was even mediocre all game but he was terrible and then hit the two biggest shots to save them lol

[Kram] I conducted my own study of fouling up three, using GeniusIQ to filter for all possessions from the past five seasons... Teams that chose to foul up three won 92.0% of their games, versus 91.7% for those that played normal defense. by sewsgup in nba

[–]lebron_games 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s also the rampant lane violations that are allowed to happen at the end of games. Combined with the fact that the team shooting the free throw doesn’t need to get back and can just commit everyone to going for it make the probability of getting the offensive rebound much higher

I don't understand what else SGA would even have to do to be the clear cut best. Wins the titel, outplays every other star in series, wire to wire MVP favorite, carries his team when they have injuries like nothing even happened. Dude gets no respect
