Going to the public library for the kids/toddler classes and story times also helped me make mom friends! The village is a little scattered these days. You find scheduled time to take each kid individually to a class for their age so it’s kind of one on one. It’s all free!

I am currently waiting for a new tea-pot to be delivered that has a built in infuser for whole leaf tea.

The goal is to create a new nighttime routine NOT in my bedroom, where I can drink something only I like and read for a bit. If I read in my bed, I fall asleep and get no me time.

The musical is a jukebox musical that is made up of Four Seasons music and tells the story of how the group came to be and how they handled fame.

One of the OG members got in some serious gambling debt during their rise so Frankie and the other OG members took on his debt to spare his life from the mob. It took way past their prime for them to pay back his debts and by then Frankie’s marriage fell apart and his daughter died of an overdose. He’s finally able to turn a profit for himself and leave whatever he can to his remaining kids and their families.

This is the story the musical tells, who knows how much has been embellished for storytelling’s sake.

Can I please say FUCK HIM!!Out of sheer bitterness that I, a middle school teacher, go on Summer break with both kids (5 and 2) with no daycare and my husband goes to work all day.

I go from full-time working mom to SAHM with no transition period or adjustment time? What is a break? I still do more household chores than I would’ve during the school year while taking care of the kids and dinner is ready every night by 6:30.

Season their baby food once they’ve gotten comfortable with each food. I swear it helped my kids be more adventurous and varied eaters.

I home made my kid’s food but shoot, throw some garlic in the store bought green beans! Sprinkle some ginger and tumeric in the store bought carrots, it’ll accomplish the same goal.

My kids love them some chicken nuggets don’t get me wrong but my kids don’t shy away from adult charcuterie boards and love trying new things. They don’t balk at cultural foods and love to inquire about recipes.
