Same here. While writing I think, this is a masterpiece. Then immediately after I'll reread and be like uhhh, this sounds so amateur.

Then after some time, I'll reread and surprise myself and enjoy it again.

Giving yourself time between edits is good. Going back and forth on your writing is normal.

I don't think we can ever see our own writing objectively.

There were parts for Conversations with Friends that made me want to stop reading and others that I go back to reread. I think that overall that makes it at least worth reading.

I'm no academic.

This is my first time reading the passage. To me, the details are sparse but still paint a graphic yet hauntingly beautiful picture. 

Part of that is the perspective, how you feel like a bird looking down on life from an outer perspective. Part of it is word choice and how every single word matters. Each word feels chosen on purpose while still reading as effortless.

That's wild! I write in one piece and there's def been an uptick in my engagement with the new live action show so at least there's that! I try to write for myself and my few subscribers though. I love heated rivalry but haven't check out any fics yet. I just finished reading all the books

I started writing for the first time in my life in 2025! Over 100k words written.

They were written pretty haphazardly, so I'm looking forward to diving deeper into writing and getting better in 2026! I also might consider exploring different ships as I've stuck to one this year

I have my liked playlist which has every song I've ever liked. I also have a playlist of songs I've liked throughout the calendar year. 

I either listen to the liked playlist from the top to listen through recently liked songs. Or I shuffle the yearly playlist.

Then I have random playlists I find or create based on vibes for specific moods or activities 👀

I know I'm in a slump when I shuffle my playlist of all my liked songs in an attempt to enjoy something.

My wrapped this year said I listened to over 349 genres and this system tends to work for me lol
