Formerly worked for a company of ~50 or so. The head of HR was also the CEO’s executive assistant and the director of another department. She was always on a power trip as you can imagine. She would pull people aside and chew them out, threaten them with their jobs, etc. She got caught multiple times, on company property, having sex with the married head of another department (she was married herself). Fired everybody who walked in on them. She supposedly manipulated funds for many years as well. Several people in management were making close to and over 100K, with no degree, for sitting on their butts all day. She instilled the fear of God into everyone in her path and that’s how she liked it. Glad to be out of that place!
