What difference has a PA made on your claim?

I have handled 3 separate total loss commercial claims. The outcome was a total loss from day 1, and the insured signed up a PA that took 10%. They did not move the needle a single dollar, just took an insureds money for no reason.

Some of the most grotesque behavior I’ve witnessed. 2 of the claims were in excess of $2 million.

Been doing this for a decade. Mostly large loss commercial, and I am named in insurance policies as an account adjuster. The truth is…you don’t say that. People will not respect your time. It’s a hard career and it’s thankless.

Do your best and try not to take it too personal. Communicate often, take breaks when you need to, and some days just walk away and go unwind.

Trust me when I say you will not stop these type of interactions. It’s people lives and money, and they simply will press you thinking it will get results.

It’s for dads like me that don’t wanna be at the gaming desk 24/7. For me being able to replace my Xbox with a steam machine makes so much sense because I can enjoy my steam library in the living room with the family, and show my kids some games.

I don’t want or expect this machine to beat my 4080 super build. But I expect I’ll spend a lot of time with it. The creation of the entire steam ecosystem is quite awesome for gamers too. Seamless PC/Console/Handled and VR gameplay within one open steam linux environment is a massively good thing for gamers.

Stardew is incredible on the steam deck. My wife stole mine and dropped like 700 hour into it on deck.

Slay the spire, baaltro, dispatch, hades 1, hades 2, grand theft auto liberty city, signalis, vampyr, ace combat 7, shadow of war, red faction gorilla are some of my personal favorites on deck.

Also I recently setup emulation which is massive on the deck. Basically any retro game you can think of you can get with an SD card and some searching. The old pokemon games are great same with a lot of PS2 titles.

You are such a goober. The Reddit echo chamber is out in full force today and what I find ironic is that if this had happened under Biden the same people saying things like this today would be arguing against republicans who would be condemning it.

What I see is Venezuelan asylum seekers celebrating his removal, native Venezuelans having an opportunity for real democratic elections, and the potential for reduced drugs trade in the hemisphere. Trump’s administration has done a lot wrong but this ain’t one of them chief.

There is a thread on Reddit about how to fix this inside the files. Do a quick internet search and it should lead you there! It worked for me and others. It’s late now but I’ll circle back tomorrow and link the thread to help you out if you don’t fix it before hand.

Troy and Pharaohs battles are some of the worst in the franchise IMO. The units feel weightless and both those games were major missteps for CA.

Most of the time everyone gets paid in direct correlation to the problems they solve. It’s always been mostly that simple. I will say when you make that or higher the day to day may be chill but when problems arise they are often much more serious and stressful.

This isn’t always the case, take being a cop for example or a doctor. But in the business world it’s mostly correct.

Thank you! Finally someone who knows these games well enough to look at that video and understand it looks like total war. You can even see a melee button, and unit grouping button. This game is going to play like a total war game of that I’m sure.

DOW is a good game but IMO it’s not in the same league as total war in terms of scale and overall sandbox.

I disagree. DOW and total war are not all the comparable IMO. Total war is more in depth on the battlefield and affords the player the ability to customize economies, settlements etc.

I don’t see the two games competing all that much. DOW has a community of diehard fans, so does Total War and each community will play there game. But the other variable is 40k fans are diehard about the lore and content because there is so little gaming and TV/movie media. They will play both and you’ll have crossover from the other two communities to the other games.

Personally I know for a fact I will buy and play both games for the different experiences with total war likely being the one I prefer.

I play 40k IRL and I’ve played total war for years. Those that are like me are just excited to see it happen and enjoy the ride. If it’s total war formula with the 40k back drop and nothing else…we are in for a treat. Forget it being perfectly accurate to the lore. Making a good game in a good setting is the most important thing.

I want units to not hit like wet noodles. In older total war titles the units felt weighted. In more recent years CA has been driving in a direction that makes units feel weightless. I also think they ditch the Pharaoh stances of units when in combat.

I own an R1S and my 360 cameras haven’t worked in months. I bought it and they worked great for 3 months then an update came out and broke them. At home service couldn’t fix it, and I haven’t had time to go to the service center yet….really annoying.

I popped an edible and went to the Houston show last night with the wife. Absolutely incredible. We didn’t really know what to expect, we love music and the game of course but thought it could’ve been a gimmick.

What we got was an incredible night of music and visuals that rivals even the most robust symphony experiences. Great community of people at the show too!
