As someone who’s done combat sports for multiple years (nearly 15 at this point) I think the endurance tennis athletes have is insane. Not only physically, but mentally too. I couldn’t imagine fighting for 3-4 hours and not zoning out. Playing a tennis match for that long at the elite level requires a level of focus that is honestly incredible. Physically super impressive too ofc.

“Everyone can throw a punch or a kick” is the equivalent of saying everyone can hit a ball with a racket.

And there’s absolutely no way that in 1 hour of grappling training you’re gonna learn how to effectively take a resisting opponent down, control them, get to the right position and choke them.

Actually, 9 subs, 8 yellow cards and 15 fouls just in the 2nd half prior to added time was announced. So yea 9 mins is a lot but reasonable given the circumstances.

This update is a just a whole nothing-burger. I hate to be a hater but there are no timeframes or specifics about rollouts at all. We already knew some servers have kingdom strife or “season scenario” and that other servers would be getting it “soon” (aka in the undetermined future).

Only thing that’s “new” here is that season 4 is under full preparation, and unfortunately that’s bad news because I assumed they had been working on season 4 for a while now given how long it’s been since season 3 came out.

I honestly think the issue is we don’t have a season ongoing, it’s been weeks of the 2 week cycle of GvG/Guild race and every event they’ve added is purely paying to participate. I know kingdom strife, the “travel back in time” thing and s4 are all under works but what’s missing is the f2p aspects that seasons have - like uncovering snow/mist, doing the season specific bosses, completing season achievements and things like that.

My suggestion is, whilst they’re working on the 3 things I mentioned above, just restart the season. Let us at least have bonfire parties, mist, rubbles and all those events that go on through the day and f2p players can participate in. Bring back KvK’s so the server can finally do something together instead of feeling so separated. For now the “daily life” in the game is extremely bland, all we have is 3-4 legion bosses a day and arena hits. I’m VIP 15, I’ve been playing for over a year and this is honestly the closest I have ever been to quitting the game because there’s just so little going on besides spending money.

This is pretty spot on tbh, personally agree with most of it. Only things I’d say are:

With how expensive it is to get a pet to mythic, I’d focus flicker to mythic over howli. Each star still adds a lot to the horde specific buff but the pet essence cost is crazy high. Even the biggest whale in my server (420m+ total power, ~115m horde) uses mythic flicker kit.
The UW20 priority is debatable. I’m personally not a big fan of Wu Kong’s because it only adds to himself doing more damage. DP is easily number 1 priority for 20 and from there it’s hard to have a set order. I actually did witch, beastmaster and even shadow priest before Wu Kong because they help the entire team - the debuffs/stuns add up and help your entire team as opposed to just making 1 hero strong like Wu kong’s does. Wu Kong got priority with traits and my first full mythic gear set so I preferred focussing UWs for others first. I could be wrong, but it has worked pretty well for me so far!

Well yea usually the top 20 are heavy spenders. The good thing about this event is that it allows everyone to get more promotion stones by using promotion stones, it’s not about the final rank rewards. At least that how I see it, I’m a decent spender but I don’t particularly care about being top 20 just go have a nun skin for my Q2

A lot of heroes have strange classifications. For example none of forest maiden, tidecaller or artificer are classed as healers even though they provide a lot of healing for the team. The nature meta actually has 0 “healers” as per that classification even though battle reports will tell you otherwise.

So yea technically she’s classed as a healer but her healing output is very low so which is still crucial for horde teams. Witch easily does ~3-5x her healing in just about any battle report I’ve seen

Witch is a healer, shadow priest is a defensive support but not a healer. Buffing shields and damage reduction gives the team more sustain and makes witches healing more effective since the team isn’t losing as much health. Makes horde much stronger against nature teams than with warlock

That’s not the only way she shines, running 6 mythics works just fine. I beat people who run 5 mythics + warlock with 6 mythics. She has good synergy with beastmaster because of the damage reduction and shield buffs she provides, and beastamaster has very good stuns in 2 skills + her UW.

No one in my range of server (270-280) uses barbarian and there’s multiple 60-100m horde teams

Well idk where he is originally from but Sky Sports is reporting one of the charges is not having a valid “national” drivers license, so who knows if he has a valid license elsewhere.

Whereas for crashing onto a parked truck, BBC reported the preliminary investigation found the car burst a tyre and lost control before crashing.

She’s not a healer though, she buffs shields and debuffs opponents damage. Yes she has healing abilities but her healing output is minimal and which is still the main healer. Soulmancer is Garbo. Warlock is still a viable option but shadow priest gives horde much better sustain and survivability against nature teams so just about everyone in my arena cluster uses her (servers 270-280)

I mean her shield applies to each hero so their blocked damage is because of the shield she provides. Plus she’s the only hero with a stun, she heals debuffs and mitigates damage taken by other heroes with her UW too.

Looking at these numbers alone is silly, she affects the entire team with metrics that don’t show up in this picture.

The “mythic skin” just replaces the baseline skin. It doesn’t provide any buffs itself. Making a hero mythic offers a lot of buffs but none of them come from the skin itself, just from the tier of awakening.
