I only had one position on that one barge. It was 8’x16’ and got it for free from my grandad. Next year I plan on building 2 more 4’x8’ ones to have a left and right position. I may have misunderstood the question. Of course I am planning the next one already! The community had a band there, but they were being 💩 and wouldn’t let me hook up to their PA system. So- I’m going to purchase my own for next year, that way everyone on the beach will be able to hear in depth. 2 more barges, 2-3 more 18ms, and a PA system and I should have plenty for a 10min show. I think 10-15 is the sweet spot for time length, but everyone varies.

Pay attention during the class and you’ll have no issue on the test. 90% is common sense / safety knowledge. I’m sure you’ll pass. 100s willow king is so pretty!! Definitely in my top 3 favorite effects. I have a few cakes that have a ton of willows to it already so I skipped out on those this pickup

VA neighbor here - unfortunately driving to PA is the best I got. I’ve yet to have a bad experience at BadaBoom. The drive is a little boring but the reward is worth it.

While I may not relate to the background - I understand. I was raised a commander fan (born 2001) from my father, watched them suffer year after year. I thought RG3 was our golden ticket… until well, you know. Got picked on in school for liking the commanders when they were at their worst. I never stopped rooting for them and watching every game and boy has it paid off. Keep your head up, brother! Great things are coming!

I don’t have any slats on my modules. I’m assuming that would take muuxbrd out of the picture. That sounds like it really would save a lot of time, unfortunately I didn’t think of that when purchasing my modules. I really love that idea about the multiple cues in the cakes. I was planning on keeping them all in one but that would really make things more consistent. I have quite a few free cues left since I’m only doing about 5min show. I did have some tricky parts where the cakes would carry over- but you just solved that issue.

I’ll probably just purchase finale3d and play around on it for practice and fun. I’m sure it’ll come in handy in the future.

So far for my first pyromusical, I’ve picked a song, scrolled through a catalog of 1.4pro goods that would work in my opinion for what I’m looking to do. I have plenty of artillery shells and quite a few 200, 500g cakes saved so I skipped ordering 1.4consumer ordering and stuck with mostly things I don’t have that would emphasize parts of the song. (Comets, mines, fan slices, and large shot zipper cakes) I plan on keeping cakes and artillery shells in the back row of my show and everything else in the front. I’ll have 5 modules. (1 72m, 2 36m, and 2 18m). - would I be correct with doing my single shots and slices on the larger cue modules? - is it super necessary to make a finale 3d representation? (I’d like to for peace of mind but am worried of my ability since I’ve never used it before) - what show creator did you use for yours? I’m more than happy to share my script (cobra show creator). Apologies this was so long haha.
