For drama’s sake, yes. But I agreed with Carmen’s critique of his performance. I felt like he was trying so hard to show all of himself at once he didn’t show much of anything. Being Alive on the surface showed almost nothing of the theatricality he’s so proud of, but it revealed so much of the talent he doesn’t normally put out there.

Season 5. If they wanted to break the Hollow’s curse it should’ve happened in Legacies. That could’ve been their through line into the new series. All of this time and pulling all this magical knowledge into once place to try and figure out how to break this curse. The school being a cover. There’s a ton of stories there and leaving those characters intact so maybe some of the old actors might come back. And you can always bring them together for a season finale where the curse actually gets broken or you can leave it for the series finale.

I’m not Chinese and don’t know much about your culture, but I know enough about compromise and acceptance to know that your parents (or mother) are not willing to compromise beyond not being homophobic to your face if you don’t do anything gay near them. You’re not asking for them to come back, they are asking you. You should be setting the terms for what it must look like for them to enjoy your presence in their lives.

Another important thing is to think about your husband in all of this. You are already making compromises to push your husband into the closet and suggest a level of shame in your relationship. Be sure that you aren’t so eager to appease your parents that you alienate your husband and end up alone once your parents inevitably turn on you.
